I'm in University now, so not that... far past the days of grade school. Pretty much the only way you were allowed to use an electronic device in class was if you had a disability that required it.
330 is better for most people because it's unlikely that you will be able to tell the difference in real world usage, but if you demand the absolute best, then 520.
Intel. They are the only ones with reliable Sandforce SSDs.
Edit: You should also look into the Crucial M4 and Samsung 830 because they are good and reliable too.
I believe NVIDIA charges far more for their workstation cards than AMD does, mainly because they have a better reputation for performance and compatibility in that field (whether or not it is actually true is up for debate).
Well... as much as I hate to say it, hopefully Apple will use IPS displays in the future Macbook Pro refresh. Then maybe they'll set off the same display spec war we see going on now in phones/tablets.
Powerplay is what limits the power draw when at maximum power, it isn't what is being talked about in this thread.

You can swap, but not with a standard off the shelf ssd. The macbook air uses a proprietary form factor so you'd have to still get one specifically for the MBA.
At least in Canada, you can just buy a SIM/micro SIM card alone (for free) with a month to month plan to use with your iPhone. I'd imagine it's the same in the US, so you should check it out.
Personally, I put the blame on Synaptics drivers for Windows. I had to use a program I found called TwoFingerScroll to get two-finger scrolling that didn't jump to the top or bottom of the page all the time. I put the link below if you want to try it out...
Yes, but unfortunately those (and their 15" versions) are the only laptops that I know of with 1920x1080 IPS screens. The best bet for 1920x1200 is a used HP 8740w with the IPS (branded as Dreamcolor) screen if you can find one, or simply the Macbook Pro 17".

You may want to look into the HP 8760w and the Dell M6600, both of which can be configured with a top-of-the-line IPS screen, definitely better that even the Macbook Pro's screen. The Dell seems a better balanced machine to me.

Did you update the mpc-hc that came with cccp? I'm thinking that could break it.
I always thought that the reason OpenGl performance was staying the same was that both Nvidia and AMD are purposefully throttling it/not optimizing it in their gaming card drivers so that businesses keep buying their workstation graphics cards.
The bags are a nice fit for my friend's netbook. It's 10", which happens to be the same size as most tablets, so maybe market them as tablet covers so you get people carrying them around :P.
I'd now guess that's either Dell made a really poor choice of components or had poor QC. Maybe contact your IT department and see if others who have that model experience the same issue.
