Verizon killing off grandfathered unlimited data plans this summer

Sooner or later they're going to take your unlimited data. I truly believe their intention is to kill unlimited data off altogether. They're just tightening the noose one yank at a time.

What kind of environment do you live in?

The burbs...although I've lived in a urban downtown condo before and loved the convenience of having just about everything you need within walking distance.

Biggest Disappointment games of all time...

Smartphone speed

Google maps downloads the maps as needed, and if you're in an area with poor reception, it's not going to work perfectly regardless of the phone handset you're using.

Best SSD for upgrade

"Best" is highly subjective of course and really depends on your price range. I've used Crucial and OCZ SSDs with great success. You'd be safe with either brand, and the larger drive you can afford, the better off you'll be. I wouldn't get one smaller than 120GB.

My boss is one of my FB friends too, not to mention many of my other coworkers. I'm just really careful what I say on there, which is the smart way to operate regardless, since anything you post on social networks is pretty much public domain regardless of privacy settings. It would suck to not...

Not surprising. Even with unlimited data you're subject to throttling once you go above 2GB of data. I joined VZW after unlimited data for new customers went away, and I don't get anywhere close to my 4gb data limit. However, if I were a longtime customer who had been promised unlimited data...
