    Ah, you may be caught in the MBR vortex caused by Linux/Win boot loader. I know it sounds odd that a boot loader can cause all kinds of problems. If it were me I would disconnect every drive and I'd install Windows on a clean formatted drive. My bet is if you do that and it will load.

    The easiest way to get to the log is just type "event log" in the Start/Search line. Once you get there look at the Summary Of Administrative Events". Are there any "Critical" events and, if so, can you copy/paste it here?

    You might also want to download VLCPlayer. It comes with a pretty decent variety of codecs but definitely get that card card out and give it a good blow out. Just remember to put your thumb on the fan so it doesn't spin around and burn out the bearings.

    Something easy you could try is taking out the vid card, load normally, and see if it still does it. And I would yank out each stick of RAM and rotate each one. I've had RAM give me some fits that you wouldn't think it would cause.
