New Build advise

I think I'll go for the MSI. I do not need more SATA ports or USB 3.0 ports. The price difference is not alot and the MSI looks alot better and its a military grade model. Not that military grade says anything but the looks do. http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/339246/msi-b85-g43.html

New Build advise

Thank you for the input, seems AMD is a no go. I thought the 4570 was still overclockable with some Z87 chipsets as only the multiplier would be locked. Am I wrong here? Non K CPU's can be overclocked the old fashion way or cant they? The Seidon I can get it with a discount coupon for the price...

Please recommend a gaming headset

Help! 4890 vs 5770 --> =5850

I had the same dilemma. but i went for a 4890 1gb vaporx as it was 30 bucks cheaper. But even if it was more expensive i would have gone with the 4890 1gb. Sure it eats more power but preformance wise it beats the 5770 hands down. so simular performance is wrong check out benchmarks and search...

What MMO Are We All Playing?

Still playing Rising Force Online on the equilibrium server. Great game full of pvp. 3 times a day we have a massive 3 race all out war. 800+ players in one map fighting each other. Thats what pvp is about hehe. No save zones except hq map. Other then that its a gear/class/skill/pvp depended game.

i think u mean a 4850 or 4870. I personally wouldnt go for any of the above. The 9000 series of nvidia sucked and the gtx260- are just waste of cash if u can buy a much better stronger and cheaper 4870 or 4890. and both those cards are pretty good cards wich still play all games on high settings...

p55 i would choose the intel p55 setup. As its the fastest out there. but as u see in my sig i even paid full pound for it knowing an amd could do almost the same for less cash. But its just the chipsets of intel are faster better etc. And the boards have more options and well who would want...

I wouldnt consider any of those cards if i where u. Lately the 4800 series of ati had some crazy deals. Check out pixmania u can find a 4890 1gb for a nice price. The gts250 and gts 260 arent even worth considering as both get beaten by the 4850+ series hands down and the 4850 + are alot...

50-100 Try and find a 4850 1gb they cost around 80 bucks. If u have a bit more to spare consider a 4870 or 4890 as lately there have been alot of crazy deals on those cards. 4850 will still play most games on decent to high graphics.

Are 4850 still worth it?

I wouldnt go for a 5830. Then go and consider a 4890 as a 4890 beats a 5830 and is alot cheaper. Go for the 5850 and if u need the cash then i would consider a 4890. If ur lucky u might find a 4890 for 130 euro. My vaporx 1gb cost me 130 euros from pixmania. But i would definetly not go for...

My "Welcome Back" Build!

Not to be offensive but for that price 178 for a 5770 u can buy a new 4890 1gb wich will crush the 5770 hands down. Just a thought though. As i went for my 4890 vaporx 1gb cuz it was 40 euros cheaper then a 5770 1gb. And performance wise its a hell lot stronger then a 5770. But other then...

Looking for P55 board for i5-750

As u see in my sig i am using the p7p55d. The pro and evo version just have extra addons wich not many people will use. So if i were u id go for the p7p55d as its a very rock solid and cheap mobo. It does everything u want it to do and is also great for ocing.
