The last computer I didn't build for myself was a brand new Packard Bell 386. Shit I'm getting old.
Time for the mid life upgrade for my current build.
I'd go 7950 if it has to be Microcenter

hey gigahertz20 I cant reply to your PM until I hit 25 posts sooooo:
NOT True... I get a normal boot like any other monitor. Honestly between the monitor and my SSD those have been the 2 biggest "oh wow" upgrades I have done in years.
Yes its one of those threads  I'm currently running 2 560's (non-TI) SLI'ed @ 2560X1440 while gaming. Is it worth upgrading right now with all the AMD promos or am I better off waiting until the next gen nvidia cards?
I'm leaning towards holding off but?
Micro Ccenter had this on their Facebook page:
As a service to hurricane Sandy survivors, Micro Center and Datatech Labs are offering data recovery services at below our costs. Please visit your local store to arrange for this (Westbury NY customers please call 888-288-DATA and explain you...
If you live close to a Micro Center don't hesitate to get a Auria @ 2560 x 1440.
Its seriously the best update I've done in the last several years.
Thanks to cmdrdredd I knew what to expect, but I am not in any way disappointed.
Thanks for the info.... I'm seriously debating about getting a catleap, but I realize I don't have the gpu to really pull it off. My single 560 is just not going to cut it.
Back to looking at 120Hz monitors
WOOT! I saw that this morning and bought the damn game.:D I also did the same thing for MW3 last month.
No preorder bonuses (besides maps) but who cares.
You are correct and thats why it wont work.:'(
FYI they still want to charge me tax on my states tax free weekend and the rep on live chat just cant grasp the concept that they shouldn't be.
