Has anyone gotten an Athlon XP to work with the latest KG7-Raid Bios?

Not the raid version but the kg7, i have is fine with the 5w bios, that was the latest i think. make sure that aftert you flash the bios you power down, unplug the ps ac cable and set the jumper to clear cmos data, wait a minute, set jumper back to normal, then set up the bios. it should...

I'm thinking 8KHA+, anyone with it care to offer up a review?

The antec 300 will run it fine. I had no troubles out of this board other than my inability to check the connections before i tryed the first boot. Its up and running, and I'm very pleased. I also have an abit kg7 that I'm ready to dump after experiencing this epox. the abit is runnin win2k pro...

I didnt see you state the rating of your ps. Im running both of my xp systems with good quality 300 watt power supplies with absolutely no trouble. However I am not an overclocker, so if you intend to overclock, go with the suggestions of a higher rated power supply. Unplug anything you dont...

Abit KG7 won't boot.... Please help!!!

I couldnt get my kg7 to boot properly without the newer bios. I am unaware of any issues with the tnt2 32 mb cards. One thing to make sure of though, is that you populate the dimm slots from 4 down to 1. Use only one stick in slot 4 until you get it up and running..

KG7 and Win2k causing hair loss

Geek167... Mine is running fine once it boots up. All the sisoft sandra tests are consistent with the hardware used. If you havent already try the new bios. It solved a few problems for me. It wouldnt boot until i installed the new bios with xp support.

Thanks Sorgon. Had no idea. *scratches head in amazement* But why is it resetting just before login often and after a few resets it will sometimes fail to detect the cdrom? The only way to get the cdrom back is to reset cmos and reset bios settings.
