Question for EVGA 1080 ti Owners

I've seen that with EVGA before. I had a 770 that had the plastic clamshell cover over the card and nothing else. It wasn't any worse for the wear.

I agree with DooKey. If you're still in troubleshooting mode then you need to determine for sure that the GPU is the problem (I'd say probably so) by swapping out the 460 for a known good working GPU. Until you get that installed and it works without issue - you don't really know for SURE...

Anyone else disappointed with gsync?

I've been anything BUT unsatisfied with G Sync - I LOVE it! It smooths things out and for gaming, those hitches and hesitations are what interfere with my enjoyment. I've been very-very happy with my new G-Sync monitor in every way - other than the price point of entry.

BEWARE of new Samsung 850 PRO Firmware!

No reinstall of the OS was necessary for either drive (both of which hold the OS for boot) and both drives are continuing to perform as expected after the FW update. Speed was maintained after the successful flash on both drives.

I hate to be 'that guy' but I've updated two SSDs to the new firmware, a 1tb and a 512 and both are fine. Now my needs do not include encryption or anything out of the ordinary, so there you have it. Some are working as expected.
