    I've got RAM that's been shipped out, 3 day UPS -- shipped Wednesday. It should be here tomorrow, as the status initially said, right? That changed to 28th, Monday. So my build is on hold until then. Sucks... but what can I do really. Sometimes their shipments have surprised me by a day.

    Right, I just wasn't sure how much more an HDD would impede the flow - even though the "cage" (non-removable) isn't very open. I only have one drive, I will get another when I have more money. But I don't need like 3, 4 or 5 drives.

    Well I got the metal piece off and can see where the wafer would be, but THAT is a bitch and a half to get out. I've tried scraping around to pry, can't. I've held a lighter to melt the bonding, can't. Probably made it worse. I've just thrown it away.

    If you're referring to Safari on iOS 4 well I've had no problems running Anandtech forums. Now, I did have some stability problems and quirks when I initially used the Gold Master release before the official release... when I updated to the official release I don't seem to have any of these issues.

    Theres a review of those that says "Cons: still wont boot at rated speed, or 1333, or 1280, or 1111 Mhz without going into bios and resetting or making some changes. XPM profiles don't work either. Tried manual settings on multiple occasions, no-go. The only speed it actually booted to was 1066...

    According to my (on-it's-way) motherboard manual, inserting DDR2 into their DDR3 only slots may damage the components. Now I have to wait even longer during the RMA process (Newegg)... my parts aren't here yet (should be Friday). This blows :(

    On iPod touch 2g. Battery seems warmer. Can't use wallpaper cuz Jobs doesn't know how to simplify a fucking 2d image and animated icons/dropshadows to where it's not an issue on older hardware. All I get out of it is folders which is great but... this is overall meh.

    Here's a question... with either iOS 4.0 or 3.0 jailbreak - the wallpaper feature... does it require multitasking to be on? I won't do this if it's required and becomes a battery drain.
