Thew newer Republic Dashboard App on the X and G allows you to adjust the call handover. You can designate WiFi networks which should never handover, or enable manual handover for instance.

Great info, but it just makes choosing between the 1037u embedded stuff and a socketed Haswell tougher! Going for a low power windows media center that also has a couple big HDDs to replace a dedicated NAS that's sucking up a lot of power.
If you actually want a pretty decent entry level quad, you're probably much better off with this Syma X1 . It has radio control instead of IR, so you'll actually be able to get 30 plus feet away. It also doesn't rely on wonky fly bars from a Pico Z for stabilization.
I replaced my 4870 1GB with the Power Color 7850 2GB that was on sale for $135 shipped, no rebate a few weeks ago. No Crysis 3 included, but it's a nice upgrade from the old card. It runs much cooler and quieter, and power usage at the desktop has gone from ~150W to 65W.
