I read in another thread that it was not safe to update the bios with the EZ flasher bios utility if you had a early bios version. I have the regular P8P67 and have bios verison 0701. Is it safe to use the bios utility?

I ordered the $299 combo yesterday and got backorder notices for both. Chatted with someone from microcenter and they said they are waiting to hear from the manufacture how many they can obtain. If they can get the products they will honor the orders.
