i have my 1.33 c model running on the 8kha+ at 175x8.5 with the beta bios vcore is 2.2 modded vi/o is3.3 mem voltage is 3.0

AMD Protective Heat Spreader Petition

i use a mc462a swiftech, and a copper spacer, with foam feet removed,iam glad that they gave me this option, and if they had put a cover over everything, all cores would be multiplyer locked,except the ones that arent now,with no way to change it.

8kha+ Overclocking--I'd like to know what folks are getting outa this board....

where can i get some borked socket a boards fixed?_

well lets see i screwed the voltage ic on the abit bye doing vmod and then i snagged a wire and ripped of the pin #7 and on the a7v133 same type of thing shorted out the voltage ic.one a7v133 i have i just thought i had abad bios flash but i tryed a different chip and it still would'nt boot...

i have a few boards that need repair, an abit kg7,and a couple a7v133, can i rma straight to abit or asus,as i clearly killed the boards,but would be willing to pay for repairs,as long as cost isnt rediculous. PLEASE ANSWER!!!!!!

i got a abit kg7 raid that i already rmaed once to the shop were i bought it. now i have torn the #7 leg on the voltage chip, any on know a shop that specializes in repairing motherboards,also have a couple asus a7v133 that wont boot any suggestions.

I just realized why I fired my T-Bird!

all you gotta do is scrape them off, with a razor blade, and save them,fry the processor, superglue them back on,and rma it.

Freeze AFTER Load? Not During?

get a good cooler and raise it to 1.85 also try raising your vi/o and make sure your northbridge isnt getting hot.

New, big socket A heatsink roundup

swiftech makes the very best mc462a it a 4 week wait and 75 bucks but you cant go wrong or a fop of some kind changed out with delta 60mm h.o. will do good.

HELP! My AXIA a Dud?

i have heard rumors of the wz01 bios o/cing the best try raising your vi/o ,and make sure your northbridge is nice and cool.did you try the ram high fsb at cas3 just to test if thats it.

Bios Checksum Error on Iwill KK266R - Help please?

yea and you dont need to flash that is just the boot block bios,it is there incase of bad flash,it gives you a chance to try flashing again, it will also show when you cpu is unbootable,or some other problem keeping you from booting ,it is basically a no boot.

you need the newest drivers from the asus web site,and if you where planing on using raid on that board see my article at http://www.tweakhardware.com its about lite raid to full raid on the a7v133, the reason you cant use the promise.com drivers is the real ultra100 and fastrak 100 have...

hi i have about 11 fans powered by a stand alone 13.8 volt 10 amp supply switched on by truck light relay when comp comes on .i would like to make a small box with volt meter and rheostat to turn down the volts what size ohms wattage would i need.this woulodnt do any harm to the power supply...

Iwill KK266/KK266-R use different northbridges than all the other KT133A boards???

the change has been for the a7v133 they just put a peice of flat metal on the northbridge try a small socket heatsink fan with asilver and raise the vi/o by jumping pins234 then avu1003a.awd will let you hit upwards of 158

yes that is the best low budget combo, the thermo engine with the delta 6800rpm,the swiftech mc462a is the best expensive cooler.

the compusa brand is antec, those are good power supplys, get the antec 400 watt that should work well. i believe the 400 is only about 80 bucks.

Well Asus A7V133 has one upped the Iwill already................

try this http://www.stormpages/crazyape/downloads it is very easy to put in full raid , just use cbrom and, new bios, release lite raid and install fullhack.bin, you can also change your epa logo if you like.

a7v Not booting???????

try reseting to jumper mode and back or other way round, my a7v used to do that and going back to jumperfree or from jumperfree to jumper mode would get it going again.

can I remove the KT7A Northbridge heatsink without removing the mobo from the case?

take the mobo out to do it,m pinch the plastic parts together with hemostats. i put silver grease on mine and make it to 158fsb.

Could this be causing my lockups?

i would say cpu too hot 120f is getting up there, i also have a second system k63+450 on a gigabyte ga5ax, that refuses to see a promise ultra100, no matter what i set in the bios, it just says no boot disk,and i tried scsi first and all that it never shows the promise bios. i also tried a siig...

windows 2k, windows me, or windows 98?

why dont you make 3 partitions and install all three, i saw a share ware boot manager the other day, cant remeber where partition magic has one or you may not even need one installing win2k last, as it has one built in, just not sure if it would pickup all three os's

anybody get a heatsink for swifttech yet

hi i just orderd the swiftech 462, with delta 38mm fan, i was just wondering if anybody else has one, or the socket 370 version, could tell me how it performs, and how long they had to wait for it, there telling me 2-3 weeks just curios.

on my third system, i have a soyo 5eam+ and k62500, its got a golden orb on it, itried to up it just to see what it would do,it wouldnt go 550 even with 2.6 volts, so i said screw it its my sons system, so i didnt want him yellin at me all the time, my computers messed up, so i just run it...

Stable but is it safe?

hows your cpu temp, iam running 1gig about the same speed 152x8, and am hovering around 50c, with superorb. i just ordered a swifttech mc462, this sucker is a monster, uses mounting holes instead of clips, and it has a 80mm delta fan on it, 50c is just a little to warm for me, plus i can run...
