Video card advice... gotta get a little more life out of my i7-920

the 920 is still a decent chip and should OC to 3.6-3.8 with very little hassle. Why not pick up a cheap 1366 mobo while your at it to OC. Used Im sure you could find one for under $100 bucks.

Silversone FT02 build

This is a defect. Mine had the same loose drive cages, RMA'd it and the one I got back was very tight. Before if you pushed on my cages from the back they would pop right out. Now you can put considerable pressure on them and they stay tight.

The best would obviously be either AP-14 or AP-15 Gentle Typhoons. Finding them however... that's' the tough part.

Dell P2211H vs U2211H - same price

Is this case good enough?? -- PLEASE HELP!

Looks like you can replace your fans with 120mm ones. This will make a difference if you can buy some decent high speed 120mm fans by Scythe or another decent fan maker. Even seeing if you can find a relatively cheap case like the Antec 300 would do a lot of good. But yeah, if your low on...

Need help deciding between these two monitors

LED is just the back lighting. They're both still LCDs. In some cases, especially on the cheaper models, LED can actually be quite a bit inferior. I'd just got with the Acer.

Case for air-cooling 2x6990, 24x7@100%

FT02 will be your best bet as far as air cooling goes. Watercooling will need maintenance, but will ultimately cool much better

Which is the best 120hz gaming monitor out there?

There are only a handful of true 120hz screens out there. You're not gonna see an IPS for quite a while either, it's just not fast enough. LG had a "120hz" IPS panel coming out but it turned out to be just interpolation again.

True 120Hz LED monitors?

All the bad reviews were the initial models. Since the 005 Revision they've gotten a LOT better. The LG, while fast, has poor colors, viewing angles and isn't the greatest. Although it's all relative.

Best case for sub-$70?

Antec 300 Illusion is the best case u can buy at that pricepoint. Or the CM 690 II Basic if you have extra fans you can add in.

Your kidding me right? Oh you know, one uses crappy ass frame interpolation to make "120hz" and the other accepts a true 120hz signal which makes a world of difference. They DON'T use the same technology and are much different. Man your ignorant. You clearly have never used a 120hz PC...

Best 120 mm fan known?

Did you have yours on a fan controller? If not you may just have had defective fans. You simple can't beat the GTs for noise to performance ratio.

The Asus or the BenQ. I've heard talk that with recent firmware updates, the BenQ is now one of, if not the, best. The Alienware is really good aswell, but it's so expensive and doesn't go on sale much.

GeForce GTX 480 noise levels bunked

The 480 must be WAY worse then the 470. Mine runes at 85ish degrees but the fan speed on auto never goes above 60. It usually hovers around 55ish. This is completely inaudible and as far as im concerned the card never gets loud unless i run Furmark for some reason. Granted I have a really...

Out of curiosity, what were your concerns with your stuff fitting in the FT02? I know the Bluray drive can be a pain with the top slot, but other then that I don't see any issues. Also, why such an expensive Mobo?

Just depends on the length, there are a ton of DVD drives u can mount in the top, but you're right, I don't think there are any Bluray drives you can mount in the top spot.

HAF X isn't bad at all, it's gigantic, way more room inside then the FT02, and only runs 2-3 degrees warmer. It's really ugly though, and has a ton of plastic on it.
