athlon/power supply shutoff? please help!

i have my audio disabled too. =) surprisingly, 107 is with the side off and a 80mm fan blowing straight on the processor. i think i'll try that voltage thing...but doesn't that make the temperature go up? :)

well, ya see, compusa power supplies have a problem with dying. i've gone through 2 of them already, and they just pissed me off. sooo...i got this one from a friend who owns a little computer stuff store... wow, my computer's running at a cool 105 now...

well, i think it's an overheating problem because my computer likes to shut itself off after a while... i have a 120mm fan blowing straight at the processor right now with the side of the case open, and so far, no shutoffs. but if i take the fan off and put the side of the case back on, i can...

okay, i guess it's a dumb question, since i probably know the answer already, but i just can't figure out what's up with this temperature thing. i've been trying to figure out why it's getting so hot. i'm running a athlon 650 (not oc'ed) on an asus k7m with an enermax 450w power supply...help!
