Multiple monitors from a single DisplayPort?

I was hoping the hub wasn't the only solution, but guess we will just have to wait. We are switching out to E6410's with E-Port Plus docking stations as soon as possible, they can run dual monitors using the port replicator and are easier to store and travel with. Thanks for the replies.

Well that's kind of annoying, but also expected. We need to get some laptops in here that can support dual monitors, they need to be Dell and preferably need to be much smaller than the Z's. We are shipping the Z's back as soon as we get some replacements.

I don't think any of us thought otherwise, simply offering our thoughts on the "downside[s] to buying an OEM hard drive." Most everyone stated that the downsides we are referring to are mostly irrelevant in relation to laptops.

Would disabling my laptop screen as a display increase performance?

I think the problem is I was testing this with SC2 and not WoW. SC2 is just too much for my laptop, WoW worked the same as always. I thought they were more similar in terms of system requirements, but Starcraft definitely requires a bit more.

My testing is just basically experience, it seems like I get better FPS but I wasn't sure if I was just telling myself that because it seemed logical. I guess I was just hoping I was wrong. I guess I will make display profiles in Ultramon for 1 and 2 monitor and manually switch between the two.

I completely forgot to ask about Meebo. It looks like there is an iPhone app, and it seems to also be free. I have Meebo for my Android for when I want to IM people that aren't using gChat (although it does support gChat), and it seems to work just fine. No idea how it affects battery life...

Problem is we will spend some time overseas and texts would get expensive quite fast. We can skype for phone conversations, and if I don't find something to replace texting we will just email, but I think I might check out Beejive and Trillian and see how they are.

So you have to jailbreak to run it all the time? I would like something that will basically function the same as text messages, but will not affect the phone otherwise. Jailbreaking isn't an option since it's not my phone plus she will probably get the iPhone 4 soon enough.
