4gb sodimm in Mac Mini (Mid 2007)?

My company needs to get rid of our OLD mainframe

I wouldn't be so sure that its worthless! Three years ago we bought a Data General MV/25000 mini-computer for $30K. We get calls from dealers occasionally who want to buy it from us. (The DG was my baby, and we were using it until last November)

Wall-mounted computer?

My boss liked the idea of plasma displays rigged with CAT5-VGA baluns and a VGA splitter, so I think we're going to end up going with that. We're still running cabling (this is for a new site) so it won't be much trouble to add a few shielded CAT5 runs to the plan. Thanks for all your help.

Mmm..the MBR is usually on the first sector of the HD, so no need to futz with the BIOS or the battery. Try doing an fdisk /MBR. That should put a clean MBR on the hard drive if I remember correctly...
