First of all Nintendo didn't "lose" RARE, they sold RARE for $375 million big ones and I'm sure they don't regret it. RARE released a total of 1 game for the XBOX and it sucked. Don't get me wrong, they're excellent developers but they take way too long to release their games.
Last night in the middle of a gaming session my computer locked up on me. I tried to exit back to the desktop but couldn't so I reseted the computer. The computer rebooted and went as far as the Windows logo screen and then it would freeze. Several attempts later it would just give me the...
My Audigy card came with a little nifty program that allow me to record radio programs online so yes recording streaming audio is entirely possible. I don't know of any other program that does it other than creative's though.
I have the same problem with my audigy card. I have to switch off my enviromental effects to get certain sounds in games and switch it back on when listening to music. A real pain in the you know what...
It depends on what games you want to play. The GC features alot of kiddy games and co-op party games whereas the PS2 appeals to a more mature crowd.
I own both because of exclusive games that you won't be able to play anywhere else. The PS2 has Gran Turismo and the Final Fantasy series and...
I had a a7n-266-vn recently that did the same thing to me and I was using Crucial PC2100. I replaced the board with an Abit KM400 board and it runs perfectly with no reboots and I can run Prime95 for over 24hrs without errors. The only thing I didn't like about the KM400 board is that it's no...
Sorry but it's supposed to be the Hydor L20 which is the little bro of the L30. I checked and I can indeed fit the JR120 Rad. I don't want to spend more than $120~$150 on this setup.
This Athanatech cause uses ATX supplies. I've been using it for about a month and modded the side where the ugly duct is and installed a window kit. I'm about to embark on a journey to watercool it now. It's functional, houses 2 80mm fans and doesn't look too bad. If you're into modding you...
I'm looking for ideas for building an inexpensive practical watercooling setup for my matx rig. I hate to hearing my obnoxious hsf and besides I just want an excuse to try something new. Here's what I had in mind.
Hydor L20 Pump
Swiftech 5000A Block
Dtek 120JR (if it can fit) or BIX Micro...
The board doesn't have dual channel memory support. I've built two systems with it so far though and it's a very capable board once overclocking is not on your mind.
I still use my R9100 and it still puts out very playable fps in all my current games. As someone mentioned before make sure the memory bus is 128bit. Alot of companies were making 9100 cards with 64bit memory buses which severely cuts the performance of an otherwise very good card.
I actually like the wireless keyboard better than the mx700. The shortvut keys are awesome and i love the media section the most...it's like having a functional remote for media files.
I want to see a review of a KM400 based board. There's not even one review available for a chipset that has been released since about last summer. Not all of us can afford A64 processors and boards.
It's cheaper at Staples if you buy it from the catalog and use one of the $20 or $15 off coupons they've been sending out lately. It's only like $69.99 in the catalog and you can still receive the 20% coupon from logitech.
I've read the word's black and white so many times in this thread. Why does it have to be a black and white issue? Were black people the only race that have been enslaved in the past?
It's all about exclusive games and which ones you like. Graphics shouldn't matter since you own a PC which spanks about every console in that category:)
I own a GC for Nintendo first party games which are always great and a PS2 simply because I love Gran Turismo and Final Fantasy...
Halo is unplayable on my computer even with low details. Kinda caught me off guard cause it's not nearly as graphically impressive as UT2003, which by the way runs smooth with my R9100.
I recently got an A2 when the Best Buy $55 deal was going and am I happy that I did. The A2 is leaps and bound my onboard soundstorm. No more having to deal with choppy sound in games and the positional sound on the Audigy is something to hear. Just my opinion so Soundstorm lovers please...
I'd vote for audigy because even though the soundstorm is good it doesn't support as many games as the audigy. On top of that the analog out for soundstorm sounds like crap compared to the audigy so you may want to take the audigy if your speakers aren't digital.
