    U2412M 24 for $249. at td

I just got a 1920x1200, 24" IPS, the ASUS VS24AH-P, otherwise I may have got this one instead. The only thing that has always kept me from buying the U2412M is the AG coating it has. But at this price I think I would have tried it out.

[DEAD] Huge discounts on 4670K/4770K bundles plus $10/$15 Gift Cards - @Newegg!

I have been hearing that the C1 south bridge stepping bug is not really that big of a deal. Atleast for me it doesn't sound like very much.. I'm just having a hard time deciding which board I want to get with the 4670k.

Asrock Z87 Extreme 4/6 Owners Thread

So which of those 4 boards would you go with? I try not to go by Manufacturer because each can have good models and bad models. I've been staying away from MSI and sticking to Giga, but I'm wondering if anyone has tried these boards and what they think. What I guess I look for in a board is...

Update: $299 + Free Shipping! 15" Ultrabook wannabe (great mom laptop)

I have heard good things from people I know that have ASUS laptops, but every manufacturer can have a bad product. That doesn't mean that every thing ASUS makes it bad. It looks like they tried to make a low cost laptop, but cut just a bit too many corners to reach that price point. Which is too...

Update: $299 + Free Shipping! 15" Ultrabook wannabe (great mom laptop)

The reviews on the Best Buy website sound rather concerning. I am looking for something like this for a friend of my Mom's, but with all the problem I'm not sure if I can recommend this laptop.

**DEAL IS DEAD Again?!** Wd caviar green sata 2tb hdd (B-Stock) for $65.99@ cdw

I have one of these on the way. It will be my first 2TB drive because up until now all of the failures rates I heard about have made me stay away. I was fine buying Sumsung 1TB F3's for $50-$55 w/shipping. It seems like every drive larger than 1TB has issues with high failure rates. With the...

HOT: HP ZR24W $260 AR @ MacMall, free shipping via UPS ground

Well I have found that MacMall will let you place your order and then say they sold out. Then tell you that they can sell you the item, but for an drastically increased price. Bait and switch. I don't even bother with MacMAll anymore. If you get it good for you! I'm just letting everyone know...

    Worth upgrading to 2500k?

Personally I say to get your GPU upgrade first and see if you get acceptable gaming performance for the time-being with that. Then when you do have to upgrade you can get the best performance CPU available. Phenom II x4 may not be the fastest but they still can put up respectable FPS.

Good/bad time to build a PC?

I would stay away from the motherboard that is included in the combo you linked to. Actually I would stay FAR away from any motherboard that is based upon a Nvidia chipset. VERY outdated crap,

I think it is BS that we pay good money for top of the line chips and still have features disabled.

What processor should I get if I want to crossfire a 5850?

Hardocp has some performance scaling benches. x16-x4 doesn't take as big a hit as you may think. Clicky! I was pretty amazed!

    i5-2500 HD2000 vs i5-2500K HD3000 (Intel hiding graphics difference?)

I really dislike the way Intel implements features on their CPUs. vt-d, k , HD2000 or HD 3000. It's a mess.

New Video Card and Still LOW FPS, WTF!

Ya. save up your money to get a Z68 board, 2500k and 2x2GB RAM. I have heard the Z68 based will be priced similar to the current P67 based boards.

PSA: You do NOT need a 650W PSU for a single-GPU Sandy Bridge system

I posted this in the review of the Puget Systems Obsidian. Why aren't OEMS using power bricks in low power systems? They offer stable, efficient and no noise power for these basic systems.

To Wait or Not to Wait - The Great Intel Debate

I would wait for the Socket 2011/sandy-e vs Bulldozer for the type of machine you want. If you just can't wait, 2600k system with all the components you need. Nice case, PSU and data storage system that you can later swap out MB, CPU and RAM of choice.( SandyE or BD)
