anyone can play 1080p movie smoothly?

1080 quicktime is laggy for me but I guess because of my system. http://www.apple.com/quicktime/guide/hd/recommendations.html Apple recommends a dual 3 ghz processor. :\

I'm Getting weird colors in Quicktime HD movie trailers

So I did a driver clean and reinstalled the nvidia drives and everything is back to normal. Never mind, the next time I played something it's blue again.

I have this problem too. It used to work fine, only things I did recently that may have caused it is either upgrade the drivers for my geforce 6800 gt or installing windowblinds 5. I'm gonna try to figure which of these did it.

Video card sharing an IRQ, problem?

Welp, did the IRQ thing and games still crash. I don't know what else it could be. I guess my last resort is to format and see if it fixes anything.

Yeah, I thought it shouldn't really be a problem. The other thing is the games that have crashed/freezed on me are all online games. MMORPGs actually. My board has another onboard NIC so I'l enable that and see which IRQ it takes.

Video card sharing an IRQ, problem?

I've been having a nagging problem of 3d games crashing on me, I tried so many things to fix it, but I can't figure it out. I just noticed that the video card (Geforce 6600GT) is sharing an IRQ with my network adapter (onboard). Could this be the source of the problem?

New computer stability

Ok, so I replaced the PSU with a Antec 480W, and the problem persists. So it's not the power :(. The most important thing right now is to get FFXI to run stable. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and it changed nothing. I've ran Prime95 overnight and there were no memory errors...

So how do I make sure it's the power supply that is the cause. I don't want to replace the PSU just because it has a bad rep.

New versions should say V2 or something like that on it, but I'm sure they arent out yet.

Mine, wouldn't even boot. After the Windows logo it will stay a black screen and reboot itself. And I can't get back in until I use the Last Known Good Configuration. Maybe I got a really bad one. I would have felt better if I could see the checkering or artifacts.

9500 -> 9700 softmod = black screen?

I just got a Sapphire 9500np 128 from allstar. Tried the softmod and would get a blank black screen after the Windows logo, and after awhile it would reboot. Safe mode would not work, had to Restore to Last Known Good Config. Noticed most people that didn't have a good softmod card would...

Platinum Cube came today. Packing slip says 10/29, which is the ship date, but ordered 10/24. $50 deal says must be before 10/27. I'll make a note on the slip and hopefully it'll work out, otherwise I will be very angry.

I placed the Platinum cube in my cart and it said it would ship on the 27th. I dont' think I'll take the risk on this one. Chances are the games will ship to me and console will be too late and I have to go through the hassle of returning the games and canceling the console.
