Monitor doesn't recognize computer

I pulled everything and set it up outside the case on my desk, again all fans are a go and the CPU feels like it's warming up so I assume the CPU is still good the fact that even with 1 ram, no video card, plugged into onboard doesn't give me a bios. Leads me to beleive I broke my mobo...

Monitor doesn't recognize computer

I just moved my computer to a new case, everything works fine, fans run, CPU fan blows, gpu fan works, but my monitor won't recognize a have a computer plugged in I've tried onboard and 2 diff dedicated cards, still no go. What could be wrong? Btw, if the hdd is bad, will I still see bios...

i can't think of any low profile cards that support the supplemental power, except the 9800 unless i'm mistaken in how this is down?

I think i might just gamble it and buy a saphire 5570 and not upgrade anything else right now, according to the 5570 bench marks it only uses 174 watts with an i7, high end mobo and ssd drive, my PSU is only 160 watts but i don't have the dvd drive plugged in and the processor is limited to 65...
