I'm using an Achieva Shimian right now, but I'm considering a second for dual screen. Problem is I've got a MSI 7970 card on the way, and it doesn't have two DVI-D outputs.

How are you guys connecting yours? I tried a HDMI to DVI-D...
I managed to get a great deal on a MSI 7970, and it's currently being shipped to me. I've never done any sort of overclocking, but I was wondering if there are video guides or tutorials that specifically deal with the 7970. I'm not really interested in benchmarks, but just a nice/safe overclock...
Ya, the 5870 will fit. I just have to remove the lower hard drive bays. I believe I've seen a build featuring one earlier. I've heard the 5870 weighing between 10 3/4" and 11"... but the PC-Q08 can hold 300mm which is roughly 12 inches.
Reason I'm using TigerDirect is due to Bing's cashback...
A). Those hard drive bays are designed to be easily removed. I'm definitely going to have to remove the bottom bay, but it will fit. I currently don't have an internal hard drive planned as I have several external ones, but I think I can still use the top hard drive bay. Only reason I'm hesitant...
So after doing a lot more research, I realized I didn't need a ton of extra hard drive and PCI slots in my computer.
So... keeping it simple/small. Please let me know if I've made an error or if you have tips/advice.

Gigabyte GA-H55N-USB3 $110

Hey guys,
I've got a few questions about what hyperthreading affects for a dual screen setup.
1. Does it make a difference playing a video game on 1st screen while watching bluray on the 2nd screen?
2. Does it make a difference playing video games and music (iTunes) at the same time...
Hopefully this will make more problem more clear.
The motherboard has 2 6gbs slots, but they're on one end of the motherboard right next to each other. Do I need angle connectors for them? I need to get SATA cables for these hard drives, and I don't think they come with any cables. (I know...
1) Newegg i5 760 + Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3 = $320
2) Tiger Direct i5 750 + Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3 = $290
If there's just a $30 difference, is the 760 worth it? (Are they the same thing... just the 760 is slightly overclocked higher by Intel?? Thus... if I OC them, it'd make zero difference?)
On...
Alright guys... I got some more complicated questions.
I can get ahold of a i5 750 for $170 while a i5 760 is $210 from newegg without a combo deal. The newegg combo deal $320 requires you to get the Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3 $140 which apparently supports DDR3 1333. I can get the same GA-P55A-UD3...
Considering a GA-P55A-UD3 right now, but apparently it doesn't have a SATA III cable with it. I know the SATA III is mounted sideways on the mobo so I'm assuming I'll have to use a right or left angle connector on it. Question is... which?
I'm about to pull the trigger on a HAF 922 and a SSD for my new build. I've been told that it's difficult to get a 2.5" SSD into one, any truth in that? I figure I could just use a 2.5" to 3.5" drive bay adaptor, but apparently there will be some difficulty due to the HAF's tool-less design.
I considered the firmware issues earlier with the c300, but numerous places have said the latest firmware update fixed everything. Not sure what kind of reading the ssd does for start up and game loading, but I was told the c300 was even faster than the other ssd.
Hmm, so 5ms and 2ms means...
Are there any good ones on tigerdirect? Seems very hard to find one in 1200 instead of 1080...'and 5ms seems to be way more common than 2ms. Any big difference?
Alright, you guys talked me into going with an i5 instead. Any difference between a 750 and 760 if I'm going to overclock them anyways? Was that linked motherboard a high quality one? (part of the reason I picked the rampage gene was due to the improved sound and I didn't have to worry about...
Thanks for posting all those ideas! I'm going to take your advice on the heatsink fan... Which also means taking your advice on the cheaper ram (they don't have a huge heatsink that blocks the new CPU fan).
I'll definitely look into the lian li case, but I'm admittedly 100% clueless...
I can get these Logitech Z2300 for about $120. How are they performance/value wise? I don't have room for more than 2 speakers/sub in my college living situation. I will be using them to play games on my PC... but I was wondering how hard they would be to hook up to a Panasonic plasma tv. I'm...
My laptop recently died shortly after warranty expired... and I hate not having my own computer. I used to play a lot of video games, but school got really busy for me. With all the awesome upcoming PC games (Starcraft 2, WoW expansion, Diablo3, Natural Selection 2, etc.) and the Bing cashback...
Hey guys,
I'm planning on building my first gaming computer, and I've heard SSD really helps out with games like World of Warcraft. I'm thinking about buying a Rampage III Gene motherboard to take advantage of the 6gbs, and I'm considering picking up the 128GB Crucial C300. The read speed...
