Does anyone know the question to this answer? I want to upgrade my BIOS but wasn't sure which one, either the latest 2.4 or the special V1.0B14. If the 2.4 doesn't have 4 way memory interleave then I'm going with the special.

Personally I would go with Crucial which is Micron's memory division. The frustration with dealing with bad ram resulting from buying generic cheaper ram just isn't worth your time and the saved money. Plus memory is so cheap as it is anyways so going with a name brand company is a no brainer.

I have a KDS 17' VS-7E. Can't say it's the best monitor out there but at the worst it's a decent monitor. I'm quite happy with my KDS, a big step up from my old MAG 15'.

If you have a Voodoo 3 2000, 3000, or 3500 get the new drivers at 3dfx gamers. It boosted my framerates in Q3A by 5 fps in demo1 and demo2. It even has the option to use geometry assist. Pretty nice considering I got a free frame rate boost.
If you truly cared about the sound then you would go for the SBLive! and a good 4.1 speaker setup but since the machine is for your daughter then the onboard audio is good enough. Just make sure to give her some decent speakers.
I just built a computer for my roomate with the CU4VX. It is a nice stable board but nothing truly outstanding. Personally I would rather get a CUSL2 but then again it costs like $35 more than the CU4VX.

I would suggest that you go for either an ASUS A7V or a MSI K7T Pro2 board. Both overclock well and both are very stable. If you get either one of these you won't regret it. I just kinda regret that I was impatient and didn't wait for the K7T Pro2 board.

No, you cannot run your memory speed totally different from your FSB speed. Your only option is to either put your FSB speed back down to a safe level or your other option is to just run you memory at just Host Clock. That way your FSB speed and memory will be 105 mhz, but I do not suggest...
