    This is a reasonable take and probably gives Democrats a decent chance at still flipping the House. Which was my original prediction, GOP takes presidency and senate, Dems take House. Pivoting to Harris probably at least prevented them from controlling all three.

    Everyone making the same mistakes as in 2016 and 2020 and underestimating Trump's support. Harris up only 1 or 2 points in ANY poll is fool's gold IMO. Seeing people predict an Obama-type wave based on these current numbers is beyond unrealistic.

    Harris has certainly given herself a better chance than Biden would have had, but she's not polling ahead in large enough margins to really secure the EC. Still lagging with indies too. All that's changed is a Biden blow out loss is looking more like a narrow Harris loss...

    Bad poll for Kamala...Biden was consistently up much higher at this point last year. These +2% margins are still an EC loss for her, especially if you believe that as in 2016 and 2020, polls continue to underestimate Trump's support.

    It's going to be close, as it always was. I still think Trump is probably ever so slightly favored as all polls historically have underestimated his support. The RFK thing is hard to determine but likely helps him.
