Phaser 6010/N? On sale at the Egg for $149 right now. I have a Xerox 6500/DN at home that has been a workhorse for several years now, but is WAY too big for a dorm room. As far as on-campus printing it is fairly limited, the college (University of San Diego) has recommended local printers in...
I am looking for opinions for a Color Laser printer for a college freshman. Small footprint, low cost consumables preferred, but reliability is also very important. Also must be wired ethernet- no static IP addresses on campus WiFi and I'm not setting up a local WiFi for just the printer. Any...
for $$$. Exchange was requested not $$ back. Obviously not trying to get both the rebate and money back, just a product that works. Thus no rebate AND 30 day warranty- pick one or the other.
Apparently if you remove and send in the UPC label from a product for a rebate you forfeit the Newegg 30 day return guarantee. They will reject any returns with missing UPCs. So don't expect any customer service from Newegg on rebate items.
This is not a deal thread and the policy is certainly...
I would invest in a good flip-up BUIS (back up iron sight) and have it mounted and sighted in along with the red dot. If the red dot dies at the wrong time you will want the iron sights. Otherwise, nice build! Sucks to be in NY, though.
login requirement at each login? (I have checked the "remember me" dialog when logging into the NAS, but it never does.) Additionally, I now have to log into the NAS every time from my Win XP media server, that never occurred until I installed Win 7 on one of my networked machines! It makes...
I have an 80 GB Intel (Dane Elec) 1st generation SSD and since it doesn't support TRIM, what is the best process to use to keep the drive at peak efficiency? I know not to run a defragmenter, but without TRIM how do I get rid of garbage etc? It is the boot drive in a Win 7 Pro machine. TIA!!
1. Can't boot from USB, but I can read and write to the drive over USB. Perhaps the clone didn't take properly.
2. I have the FTM64GX25H SSD, that has the 1571 firmware installed from the factory (serial number has DIX coding)
3. The computer locks and BSODs with the SSD connected to the...
I am trying to get a SuperTalent 64GB SSD to work with my DFI NVIDIA nForce4 Ultra chipset motherboard, and whenever I plug the SSD into one of the SATA ports two things happen- the BIOS recognizes the drive at POST, but the computer locks hard (sometimes BSOD) when loading XP. The SSD works...
I received the same email from Microsoft as ViperGTS and Y23KC. I too resubmitted the request for payment, so we will see what happens. Overall this has been a great money saver for me- if I get this last payment I will have received over $750 in cash back!
I have purchased two of these units over the last three weeks, and both are in as new condition. No manuals or software CD, but who needs those anyway ;-) I highly recommend these to anyone looking for a great gift or for themselves. Quick shipping from e-cost as well.
I think that if the major ISPs implement the pay-for-bandwidth plan, most educated internet users will switch ISPs to smaller companies that support Net Neutrality. It is these educated internet users that drive most of the internet ecommerce and activity, so I think that if the big ISPs piss...
Wow- I've always had good luck with Ecost, but it certaily looks as if they have gone downhill in the last 6 monts based on the reseller ratings mdetz linked. I would be wary based on that.
OP- I didn't mean to imply that you were somehow responsible for the bad rebate link ;) I just wanted to warn others that there was a problem and that they could ask for a form to be mailed to them. Thanks again for a great deal post!
Thanks for the tips on the RAM- that was the first thing I checked since it stopped on the second to last LED. What ended up working was I disconnected all of my drives except the boot drive and the system POSTed up first try. I had to re-identify the priority of boot drives in the BIOS, then...
I had my system running (sometimes) with a seasonic S12 500 W PS, which is apparently incompatible with this MB- the power supply is defective in this application (many have reported the same issues with this PS). Anyway, I replaced the S12 with an OCZ Modstream 520 W PS in the EXACT same...
Good deal OP! $0.33/GB for Seagate goodness is awesome! Just a note- the link on the product page to the rebate doesn't work- I had to sign up to have the form mailed to me.
What is your LDT multiplier? If still at 5, that is your problem. You need to keep the LDT bus below 1000 MHz. I have a Toledo core 3800+ currently running at 2.5 GHz, LDT multipler at 4 (1000 MHz), RAM multipler at 1.8 (PC360) for a memory clock of 450 MHz (900 DDR) all on a DFI Lanparty nf4...
Thanks Guys! I have the PCIe version of the card, so I don't think this will work for me :-( I am currently OCing the card at 550 core/520 mem and it is stable. I am still tweaking the memory number, but the core is unstable at 560.
Can I open the extra pipelines on my new ATI X800 Pro ViVo card? If so, how is it done? I searched the forum and couldn't find the answer, sorry if this has been covered before.
TIA!!
I received my X800Pro "refurb" from ATI a couple of weeks ago, and it IS VIVO, cables and everything. It also appears to be brand new, not "used", so I think these units are overstock that they are getting rid of before the new models ship. Great card, IMHO.
New System build:
DFI Lanparty nf4 Ultra-d
AMD 64 X2 3800+
Thermaltake Big Typhoon CPU Cooler
2 GB Crucial PC4000 CAS2 memory
ATI X800 Pro VIVO
74 GB Raptor
2 NEC DVD Burners
2 additional PATA drives
Seasonic S12 500W PS
Thermaltake Armor Case
Symptoms: Started up computer (first...
The users manual isn't clear at all on the requirements for the two 5V/12V power connectors on the motherboard. One is a Molex-style HDD power connector and the other is a FDD mini style connector. Do BOTH of these need to be connected to the power supply, or just either one of the two?
TIA!
I need a recommendation for a high reliability PSU for the new system I'm building. Recommendations for both cost-is-no-object as well as the best bang for the buck please.
System:
DFI lanparty nf4 ultra-d motherboard
Athlon 64 X2 3800+ CPU
Thermaltake big typhoon CPU cooler
Thermaltake...
