    So, I made a new system: CPU: AMD phenom II X4 965 BE MOBO: M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 RAM: CorsairCMX4GX3M2A1600C9 And the MOBO doesn't support the RAM, but I still bougth it and now it runs too low, so can i OC the ram by itself or do I have to OC the CPU too, to match the frequency?

    maybe the limit of 1.4V is because it'd get hotter faster as it has slightly less room per core on the die? ps. I'm just dabbling in OC'ing myself, so i'm not sure at all about what i say, just making an educated guess.

    don't get a 920 for online games, it's grossly overkill, get the X6 1090T with the best graphics, then you can OC it if you really want, but the cpu doesn't matter a lot in gaming, the GPU is much more important, also, what screen form factor are you using?

    yeah, i checked both of these off, as i tell in my post i have 750euro's, while both of these laptops are 1100 euro's in the netherlands (the equivalent of 1.432 dollars) prices are probably a lot lower comparatively in the U.S.

    get a second monitor... but don't even try for the 980, it sh*t, have you even thought of buying a 3d optimized kit? Thát would add to your gaming experience, but it won't last long, in 3 years this 3-D fad will go away.

    I'll probably go for the 945 then, when bulldozer comes out i'll be able to upgrade to a 1055 or a 1090 for next to nothing as the hexa-cores will have to lower prices or we'll all just be buying bulldozer.
