Dropped all quality settings down to medium (with post FX still on low). GPU1 and GPU2 usage was usually maxed out at 98-99%. Afterburner only had memory usage for GPU1 and that was hovering around 1070, regardless of smooth play or not.

I would if it would ultimately resolve this issue. I ran AMD OverDrive, which has a CPU and GPU status monitor. I'm confused with it's results. While running around, when the game is playing at it's smoothest, all 4 CPU cores are averaging around 70-80% and all GPU cores (OverDrive shows 4)...

yeah absolutely. honestly, i'm shocked it took 100*C to force the shut down. definitely keeping an eye on it and will routinely clean out my PC. still in the 30's so i'm good so far.

yeah, it concerned me to say the least haha. but it's all good now, mid-gameplay, the CPU was in the mid 40*C's so i think it's safe to say the problem is solved. thankfully.

for some reason, Shift 2 is running horribly on my system. there's no way the game can be THAT demanding, i can run Crysis Warhead, maxed out, at 60fps. even if i lower some settings on Shift 2, it still doesn't run anywhere near smooth. any ideas?

yes i do have W7 64bit. i've done some video editing in Premiere Pro with hefty HD video files and it seems to do fine with it. i haven't gotten TOO complex with it yet though so i'm not sure if i'll see the drop off then or not. was just wondering. thanks for the input.

i'm 6'4" and about 160lbs. i see a lot of stuff on losing weight but not much on gaining. is there any tips or secrets for the quickest way to gain weight? obviously eating a lot of good stuff and lifting heavy weights, at least, that's what i read. just wanted some input, experiences, etc...
