I took the bait and got one but it sat for awhile since I didn't have any drives for it. I picked up a couple of 2TB Hitachi drives so finally tried it. I do have a question. I don't see in the unit's software if you can set up the drives to be just two separate drives, not raid or mirrored...
Over a year ago I purchased a number of these. I was planning on giving some as presents last Christmas. Poor quality control causing a higher failure rate than we are use to with normal products. They also are mediocure in performance. Audio quality is lacking. Great idea but poor quality.
I've ordered a total of six. Two then four. Ended up returning 4 becuase of defects. Bad quality control. Way too many defective units getting out of the factory. Good idea but bad production quality.
I setup the password with a wireless USB keyboard on a new computer. I tried using a wired PS2 keyboard from another computer and it will not take the password. I created a second account entering the password with the wired keyboard. The second account takes the password from the wired...
Anyone had the unit stop working after trying to use a USB drive? I got two, one for the wife and one for me. I used an SD and a USB in mine and it worked fine. My wife tried her's with a 64meg freeby USB she got at a conference and it won't start up now. I tried it in mine and it toasted...
I wanted an LED like the minimag that focused. I managed to find one but also found a replacement LED lamp for my minimag here: Link to Minimag led replacement
Dave,
I am interested in using the bootable Acronis CD to read or write to a network drive for the image like in Ghost. I tried reading the online PDF manual and didn't find my answers about NTFS image creation and restoring from a boot disc with a network drive for the image.
I see...
I am looking to switch from Ghost 2003. With this version of Ghost I can only image FAT32 drives across the network to my image drive. Ghost V9 doesn't fit my needs. I am using NTFS on my new machine and I want to switch the others over to NTFS. So I need an imaging software that can image...
I had a laser printer shared using one computer as a print server. Then I got a print server for the laser printer. After installing the software on all the computers I found I could just change the port to the network print server on the Win98se machine but I can't change the port on the same...
I have a Pipeline 75 isdn router. I see it connecting when any one of two computers start up and it shouldn't be connecting. I put a firewall on to try and find the cause but it didn't help find the problem. The only thing I found out with a firewall is when I locked out the internet it didn't...
I ran across this on a setup page for the Pipeline. Maybe this is what is going on with the Pipeline connecting when I don't think it should be connecting.
"The Pipeline will sometimes open a session to a remote site unnecessarily due to broadcast messages on your local network (which is often...
Well I think the problem has been solved since the ISDN router has been connecting ok lately. I had thought there was something wrong with the router so I picked up a used one off eBay. The replacement did the same thing so I called the ISP. They sent a message about the problem to MegaPop...
I went to my local BB on the way home Thursday and they had three. I didn't remember everything I read here so I went home and checked this posting again then went back and got one for $79.99+tax. Just opened it up and it only has heat sinks on one side, each side of the fan. The sticker on...
Ok I use the telnet alot to see if I am connected ok and how the router is setup. Now I understand what you mean by message codes. I always wondered what all the M# things were. When it trys to connect one of the M numbers shows connected but it is only one channel. I noticed when it did...
The router dials up the isp with the full phone number. I also issued the fatal history command and got nothing. I haven't seen any error messages or numbers. Perhaps I need to look somewhere I am not aware of.
Watching the software that connects via the serial cable I can see the router...
Last week the internet connection part stopped working. Phone part still works ok. It's not the ISP's isdn since an isdn modem I have works on the connection. Sunday I decided to try reflashing the firmware and it fixed it. Work fine until today when it started doing the same thinkg. I try...
The auto dialing is off in internet explore. There is no software installed from the ISP.
Since it is an ISDN router that is connected to the network switch it only dials up the ISDN connection when something on the network looks for something from the internet.
Since each call has a cost...
I have an ISDN router connected to my network. WinXP causes it to dialup and ISDN connection when it starts up. I have the auto update feature turned off. I also have the auto update feature turned off in Norton Antivirus. I only want the router to get the ISDN internet connection when I...
Well I ordered the camera on 11/5/02 and they billed the card the same day. Week later they didn't ship and the card is billed. They said they didn't get them yet from Canon and they would ship the order on 11/18/02. Called on 11/18/02 they said they didn't get the cameras from Canon and...
TwoMix,
Mine did too but seems to me some time ago they reviewed purchases and changed them when they had decided the coupon couldn't be use. So I am skeptical that they might change it after reviewing the purchase since it was an error on the posting price.
Well the question is will they let the drives already ordered go thru for the $99 or will the change the price to the $129 and ship them. Haven't they corrected the price and shipped the order before on errors without asking if you still want it?
Heck I can't even get back into Staples site right now to print out the rebate coupon that I didn't print out when I ordered the drive. Hopefully I can still get to it.
cjchaps,
Good idea.
Edit: Called Canon and they can only verify dealers that they can refer you to. They said they are not referring people to any on line dealers at this time. So they only seem to refer to retail outlets. They also said if it is a Canon camera covered by a USA warranty it...
roamerr,
Well I called them on the phone before ordering to verify they were in stock and double check they had USA warranty. Like I said I did find other sites that had them at $490+ so it wasn't like $100's less which would have really worried me.
Well I ran across them while looking for a Canon G2. Took a chance yesterday and ordered one on Visa. They say they are new, have USA warranty and all the manufacuturer's accessories. No gray market. Guess I'll find out. They were $455 for the camera and some others were at least in the...
I am looking at three print servers and can only find reviews/comments on one. So anyone here have any experience or knowledge on which one would be the better print server for my Lexmark laser and HP720C inkjet? Choices are: Netgear PS110, D-Link DP-303 and Linksys EPSX3. I found three...
bbqweed,
I was interested in a print server and after doing some reading I was leaning toward the Linksys EPSX3. Have you used this print server? If so what can you tell us about it? I am planning on connecting an HP722C inkjet and a Lexmark Optra 310 laser to the print server.
Sukhoi how much is expensive? I have seen three port print servers for $110-$130. Hawking(PN7337), D-Link(DP-303) and Linksys(EPSX3 ver2). I have been looking for a print server myself with at least 2 ports. I am leaning toward the Linksys from what I have read. Although it would be nice...
I have three computer on the network. Most of the time no more than one or two are running. Occationally three are running. I emailed you the settings. Thanks for taking the time to help.
I have a Pipeline 75 router. I upgraded the firmware to the lastest version awhile back to try and solve a problem. That problem seems to be gone but I have another one that may or may not be related to the firmware upgrade. If I am downloading a file that is say 3 meg the download stops at...
I am using a Pipeline 75 ISDN/router connected to a switch for my local lan. Up to about three weeks ago it worked fine with one computer but when I used two at once on the connection data flow would stop after X amount of time. Maybe 5-10 minutes. So I decided to update the firmware thinking...
Well this is a work machine which means I only get admin when I need to do something that requires it. Right now we are still figuring out how to run the building automation software on Win2k. I have a local account so I can run the building automation software when the server is shut down...
