Thanks for all the suggestions. I think I am going to try out a set of 4 bookshelf speakers (their P5 line) and a center from TSC. I'm also going to pick up the 10" sub. Grand total for everything (all 5 speakers and the sub) is about $340 w/ free shipping and a 30 day moneyback guarantee...

Those Elemental Designs 5T5s are pretty nice looking, as are the HTD Level Threes. I think they are a little bigger than my wife will allow. :) If I could convice her for those, I could probably get a small Floor standing set. :) I like the Energy sets. Those are pretty nice and a good...

I have a Linksys BEFW11S4 router and I want to get a desktop wireless adapter. I don't particularly care for feature set (what ever might be available), I just want something that will work with this router. Are there any known issues with using other vendor's cards with a linksys router? Thanks!

At the moment, I'm not concerned with the XBox not working. I can't even get my PC to connect to the internet through the router. There's got to be something in the router I'm missing... I'm not sure I can adjust the Westell's properties, but I'll take a look when I get home.

OK, I now have DSL and I can connect fine if I connect directly to the modem. I have a Linksys BESFR41 router. If I connect it like I had for cable, I can't get the activity light on the WAN to come up. I can only talk to the router - no websites. I haven't even tried to connect to Xbox Live...

SAN - Storage Area Network - What are your oppinions

I currently have Cable internet access and Xbox Live. Life is good. However, I am sick of paying over $45 a month for it, and having it go up every year. $30 for Verizon DSL seems to be much more reasonable. Anyone have experience with DSL and Xbox Live, specifically Verizon? Thanks!

Two NIC's in one computer HELP !!!!!

I thought that the GigE standard required autosensing TX/RX connections? The 3COM cards I have here let you plug a standard CAT6 cable from 1 computer to another without having a switch or crossover cable involved.

Why were 1700, 1800 and 1900 not leap years?
