guys if your reading thx for help.. seems i was never aware that spyware could be so deadly on my system. I always had a firewall. and now in the 2days i unhooked firewall to test out this webcam i seem to have gotten lots of spyware. i loaded up adaware and sure enough like 60 spyware things...
for some reason i turned on my comp and all my programs are now opening super slow something is definantly wrong.. What could be the problem? Im running winxp it was working fine till today i never chagned any settings. ARGH
i did everything suggested but winamp is still not using 4 speakers. i did the test tone with all 4 speakers and it is recognizing the rear speakers but rear speakers still dont play music
i just installed new nforce2 drivers and now my rear speakers dont work. i checked in sound control panel that quad speakers are selected cuz i have klipsch 4 speakers. can someone help?
Can someone help me here. I dont know whats going on but I have winxp sp1 and I have tried without intellipoint drivers, and with intellipoint drivers the mouse pointer speed is very slow and i have the pointer speed all the way up

santa cruz.. creative is the devil.. i had a sblive and my system was getting random instabilities. ever since i got the santa cruz my system has been running rock solid stable (months) so even if the audigy is better i wouldnt recomend it cuz of the name Creative.

Hello. autorun is not working i made sure it was enabled. also my cdrom doesnt update itself when i put a new cd in. it will still have the disc name and icon of the previous cd i put in even tho a new cd is in and it lets me explore it, etc.

Hi. i have a bit of a problem here.. in my computer my cdrw drive (E always shows JEDIKNIGHT as being inserted even tho i enter different cd's all the time. somehow it is "stuck" on jedi knight being there

hello im running win2k and been uptime 2 weeks so far but my memory is at 120mb. when i first boot up its at 70mb. is there a way to regain the lost memory
im tryin to keep my uptime and not reboot.

Nope. its definantly not because of any my software. i make sure absolutely nothing loads at startup except devldr32.exe which is needed for creative drivers to function

My problem isnt really a problem..just an annoyance. Every time i reboot in order for my 2 back speakers to work i need to go to audiohq and RE-SELECT 4speaker...
I have narrowed my choice down to these three. I am leaning towards for MSI non raid. I do not need raid and the pricetag is 107. Anyone talk me into paying extra for the asus or abit? Or should i just get the msi? Looking forward to hearing comments

i had "tash scheduler" at manual. when i switched it to automatic bootvis worked perfect.

i downloaded bootvis.. went to optimize system it then rebooted and then when entering windows it comes up with the bootvis optimizing dialog but it doesnt do anything, no hd activity just sits there. i tryed 3 times in a row did same thing
