I read through his entry from 2 days earlier: really puts things in perspective...something so simple as looking forward to going to see a movie that comes out in a week or so, not knowing that you'll never get to see it, that you've only got 2 days left on this Earth. what a sad story...

Thanks Zepper. Yeah, maybe that's the best idea, just modding a microATX case. As far as power, that's not a problem, since even though the board is Baby-AT format, it actually has power connectors for both ATX and AT power supply units. So I can use an ATX power supply for it. I'll have to...

Need Recover after format program help!

When I needed to do this, I bought active@ uneraser. Their demo version won't recover any files, but it will let you view to see if files are there and recoverable. When I accidentally did this (around May 2002), I, like you, looked freeware first, but couldn't really find any. So, I coughed...

According to an article from Sept. 11, 2003, here: http://www.atnewyork.com/news/article.php/3075931 I think the results or their poll were 52% supportive and 21% unsupportive...I don't know who exactly they polled, but i'm expecting somewhat different results here.

wait a minute, that sounds waaay oversimplified. Did you look at my example? Each of those things that I included in that example are self-booting themselves...The WinXP CD image boots itself, Knoppix boots itself, dban boots up itself...so how on earth would I call each of those things from a...

which user friendly linux will work with window application

no, lindows is simply another distibution of linux (essentially). You'll still need to use something like Wine if you want to run windows apps under it.
