I got the LG 915FT recently and it has been great. One of the best pictures I've seen on a 19", has built in USB hub which comes in handy too. Very happy with it
Download the ie5setup file (500K), then run the file when it asks which install you would like full set of components, etc. Select customise your browser. From here just click advance and there is a options to downloan only. This will then download everything you want.
TDK 24/10/40 drives are either rebadge lite-on or OEM sanyo drives. I bought one and got the liteon one. Look what it says on the box if it says buffer under run protection then it is a liteon. If it states burn proof then it is a sanyo.
I got my TDK for same price as a liteon and in my option...
From what I read you can flash the OEM models with the retails bios. The retails also run at a higher voltage. So by flashing it you are also increasing the voltage which should help it run at 275/275, a bit easier.
I just got a 7500 and my memory runs at 305Mhz (610Mhz DDR) which out any...
Hi I'm currently stuck on a NT 4 Workstation and the monitor is set to 60Hz I know the monitor can go upto 85Hz at the resolution it is running. But When I got to display properties, the settings tab has been disabled. Regedit to is disabled on this profile. Is there any way to change the...
Hi, does anyone know where I can get screen shots of OS's like Beos and Redhat 7 etc? in the standard build no programs open etc or backgrounds.

Ok a little game for you lot, as you can tell I'm bored. Whats the most expensive thing you can find for sale on the internet ?
Must be something u can physically touch so no domains names etc
Try disconnecting both drives from the scsi card and making sure it is set for 33Mhz PCI. If doesnt boot then try the card in another slot in case its an IRQ conflict.
If the computer boots ok, then try connecting just the hard drive. If that works ok then connect the CD Rom. If these do not...
Hi, a domain name I have been eyeing up was due to expire on 23rd March 2001 and I went to buy it yesterday and this morning and its still showing being registered to the same person with the expiry date of 23rd March 2001. Are the servers which hold this information slow to update. Or is there...
AMD need to get the revised T-Bird core out ASAP. The current core has no hope of running in laptop market, with the power it consumes let alone the heat the chip puts out.
For the money nothing can beat it, and once some cheaper manufactures start producing the cards they will be priced the same as most Geforce MX cards. Add some overclocking and it should be a great card for bang for buck
Hi, I have a Iiyama Vision Master Pro 400 monitor. I have just noticed that from the two horizontal monitor wire lines there are vertical lines coming of them. Is this my monitor finally dieing as its about 2 years old now?
Cheers
Hi I'm just about to upgrade a server here at work and was wondering which combo you think would be the best overal:
Dual 700 P3's on MSI Dual VIA Board
Or
Single 1.2 Ghz T-bird on MSI K7T Pro 2
The server is used as a domain server, while hosting an intranet site using SQL, along with a few...
I got a 32 Mb DDR Radeon a month ago from CCL Computers (always had good service from them). The card replaced my Creative Geforce DDR and I had a Creative DDR MX as a stop gap for a week.
The radeon is a great card and much cheaper than the GTS so I'd go for the GTS and spend the change on...
The older aopen DVD drives were simply rebadged pioneer drives, I'm not sure about the news models though. My 6 speed SCSI pioneer is just starting to die on me. Been a great drive served me well. Had a toshiba before was far to noisy. Probably going to get the 10 speed SCSI Pioneer now to...
I just order the 430 w model, as my 300 w PSU has been playing up and I have to unplug my CDRW and a hard drive to get my comp to boot now. I should be getting it monday, so I can plug everything back in.
I have used 3 Com for the past few years, mostly 905 models. Never had a single problem with any of them, all still going strong. Although I would personally go for either the Intel or the 3 com NIC's, go for the newest model out of the two.
If the core clock is still locked to the memory clock then, overclocking might be a problem. If it isnt then these should overclock very nicely. With the new drivers too once the bugs are worked out with HSR, they should provide a lot of bang for buck as long as the price remains the same.
I have two of these one will run at 933 Mhz but crash during 3mark 2000, and will only run 100% stable at about 900 Mhz. The other will only run at 810 max. Tried both with different slockets (Iwill, Gigabyte etc), Alpha Heatsink and silver compound.
Hi, I've spent days looking for the X2 upgrade for my a sportster flash external modem and can only find the V.90 upgrade for download. Does anyone have the original X2 upgrade program for this modem.
Thanks
Kev
Its just a copy of the Alpha PEP 66 heatsink. The fan doesnt look like its that powerful and is pushing air through the heatsink, not pulling it through like the alphas do. Maybe as a cheap version of an PEP 66 it maybe ok if you flip the fan around.
Hi, I'm trying to get dual monitor to work in Windows Me. I've got a Dell Optiplex GX1, with an integrated ATI Rage Pro Turbo AGPx2 and a Matrox Millennium 2 PCI card installed. The computer boots using the Matrox card and loads into windows, but the ATI display is all corrupted. When I move the...
I would highly rate the Bostin Accoustic Media theatres, they are two speakers and a sub and are the best computer speakers I have ever heard. They easily beat the Creative 2500 speakers, unless u need 3D sound.
I think everyone should wait for the final product before people judge it. The K7 was out performed by the K6-2 in early benchmarks. I personally think the P4 will match the T-bird when it is released and that intel should be able to quickly ramp up the Mhz of the chip due to its deep...
