Difference between PS3 vs. PS4 speed and image quality

I appreciate the quicker menu response, fast installs and pretty smooth multitasking (PS4).

Oh well, it's all in fun. Anyway, OP, personally I played the 360 more during that cycle, as the multiplats I wanted to play often looked/performed better on there, plus some exlusives (timed or otherwise). Lately, though, I have found myself on the PS3 a lot more, and haven't fired up the 360...

So anyone happen to come across the rumor that the PS4 may be getting PS1 AND PS2 emulation in a future update? If it proves to be true, I would immensely enjoy such a feature, having a backlog of RPGs to go through still.

Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor looks awesome

I think I only saw 2 qtes in the whole thing, right before getting smashed. Tolerable. I can't believe how similar this looks to AC. The information on the left as you're killing reminds me a lot of Ryse, also. Still, it looked pretty good for pre-alpha.

God, I miss cartridges

I hear you on this. I was lamenting the fact that modern consoles have multiple updates and game patches that require an online connection to someone the other day, and comparing the current state of things to buying a cartridge game, bringing it home, and being able to play it with no strings...

Well, before looking for a headset to buy to replace the string-can one that comes with the system, I tried plugging in my Logitech Clearchat Pro (USB) to the PS4, and to my surprise it worked wonderfully. :cool: Also found a user-made compatibility spreadsheet if anyone is interested...

I can definitely understand your stance - didn't think of it like that. I think what feels different to me are the physics and the ball speed. I do kind of like the original themes of Zen tables though. I'll try it some more before deciding on a purchase.

Well the Arabian Nights table is free/included, and the other tables can all be played in demo mode (up to a certain low score) to get a feel for them. After playing PA I felt a little uncoordinated trying Zen. Could just be me, but try it out and see.

After trying both, I find Pinball Arcade more to my liking. Perhaps it's a desire to experience something more authentic as a real table, but it just feels more comfortable to me. Really considering buying the Season 1 pack. How did you feel about this one vs 3d Zen?

I started to love Resogun the more I played and understood it. Played Killzone for a bit, then got my XBox One, DR3, and Ryse. Been playing those until the other day when I got AC4 for PS4, giving the DS4's battery quite a workout. Anyone else having a hard time finding a PS4 camera?

If you replace "graphics" with "threads", the choice would seem to be the former. But before I get flagged with trolling, I'll add that two things of the same quantity can be compared - increasing that amount is not required to be objective. Otherwise I have no friggin' idea what you just said.

You ain't lying. I found myself overwhelmed at times having to go down tight spots loaded with zombies. I can't wait to get my levels and blueprints up so I can plow those suckers down. :) Also after playing for a few hours, I noticed the xbox was dead silent and super cool to the touch...

I completely agree with this. Not only is it currently inconvenient for bluray-sized downloads, but I'd like to see some of the same conveniences of physical media tied in to make the digital market [for consoles] more appealing - "trading in" games for partial credit toward another download...

Wii U sales are still awful

I think I understand your point taking your post as a whole, but the second part alone is begging to be picked apart. A meager PC configuration could accomplish this, while you can't buy a console today to do the same thing.
