No idea Gothic 3 was this good. What about the other installments in the series? I'll hold on just wait to get all 4 as a package when the price is right. Just a matter of time.
That the game has good community support is great to hear. Is it anywhere near as moddable as the elderscroll games?
Already got the original and the first expansion on steam. Seeing I haven't gotten around to them yet (but I will... that's what I tell myself for most of my backlog) I don't see the need to add ToV just yet.
I filled out my application on the 19th and I still haven't received anything other than the initial email you get confirming they got your entry.
No idea if this kind of wait is the norm or what. Just sent them an email to their support address but I wonder how long that will take.
Don't forget the Heir to the Throne expansion as well. I got it for 2 dollars on a steam special when Divine Wind (which I'll get sooner or later when it goes on sale) initially came out.
Must have been from a non-fan of the grand strategy genre. For 4 dollars it's a highly recommended...
I saw one amazon reviewer state he got his unit for an even 300 dollars so if you are willing to take a chance on this model you might as well wait for it to go down in price some more as it has in the past.
I got an email saying my code was activated around 8am pacific and ready for me as soon as I logged on followed by an email 10 minutes later that my 'order' got canceled.
Too bad I was afk to enjoy my 10 minutes of 'owning' Metro 2033 :).
Seems like that happened to me and I ordered almost an hour ago. I got this:
If anyone wants to PM me a serial I'll appreciate it. Or post it here in a first come first served basis. Whatever is fair.
It plays in real time like a RTS but it has more in common with Civ4 in its overall gameplay. Check out a few reviews, it's a great game if you like the idea of taking control of a particular country and doing your best to develop it as a major power (or whatever role you desire) over the 400+...

I got EU3 complete this past holiday...
This. If you can't afford it then don't pirate it either.
PC games are luxury items, not necessities. There's plenty to do with your spare time even on a tight budget. If you're going to torrent the game don't use the 'price is too high' excuse at least, that's BS.
A great game overall and a must play for fans of the classic System Shock games. For under $10 it's a must buy if you appreciate a well done interactive experience.
I just joined the Mwave Club but I don't see how I can select the 'free shipping' option. Can anyone help me out on that?
Guess they pulled the plug on it... still a nice deal.
EDIT: I got one, even with taxes and shipping I couldn't resist.
Guy, I can only go by what the site informed me and it it was going just to charge me just $5 dollars. That they changed the rules of the deal later on and charged me the full $10 was disappointing. That's it period.
Well my order for 1 gift card went through but I got charged the $10, not the $5 I initially was charged for it after using the link Arik5405 provided. I'd still would have gotten one at $10 but that was disappointing.
I just got it for $5 so thanks a lot for the link :).
EDIT: My roommate followed the same process and couldn't get the 5 dollar extra discount. I wonder if it was due to being on the same network(ip adress) as me.
I bought the Serious Sam HD pack today. Not sure if anything else merits my attention but I've heard Killing Floor offers a great multiplayer experience.
I'm going to get the Battlefield 2 complete collection. Too good to pass up.
Anyone know anything about the Overlord games? At 3 dollars for the collection if it's any good I might get it.
I'm pretty happy with what I got on the first day (complete Valve pack for $25 plus BF:BC2) so I'm just waiting for another killer deal before I part with any of my money. Plenty left to go though.
It's arguably the best deal they got (well after all the Valve stuff for $25 which is now $50). The game has a great single player campaign and the multiplayer is even better.
I'm thinking of gifting the Valve pack but I got to get in touch with my friend first. I don't think he has a Steam account (heck I just got mine a month or so ago).
EDIT: Damn what a shame Valve had 2nd thoughts about offering all their goodies for just 25 bucks and they doubled the price on...
I got a quick question. The complete Valve pack is $24.99 which I'm thinking about getting as well.
I already bought Left for Dead 2 when they had it for 5 dollars though so I shouldn't have any issues if I gift my 2nd copy of the game to a friend right?
I never done it before so I was...
