    It's interesting to see what people are paying for "scrap" computer parts. Especially old CPU's like the PPro. This place is near me, and I've been meaning to take a load of broken stuff over to them one of these days. Not that I'll make a mint, but might help finance my next tech purchase...

    It used to be pretty good quality when I had it, similar to CD I felt. But I have the more expensive Bose system in my car. (not that its the greatest, but its decent) Odds are good that your rental had poor equipment supporting it.

    Plasti-Dip is a great product, and super durable. I've used it on exterior automotive applications a number of times with great success. Never thought to use it on a PC case, but there is no doubt it would function well there too.
