Original Titan or Titan black owners

I have used Titan DP for thermal modelling of polygonal models (periodic solar heating,thermal inertia, and thermal conduction into subsurface layer, solved for each facet using the finite difference method. You can solve temperature of each facet in parallel).

Do you own a x86 Linux desktop?

Of course! i7-5960x Asus x99 pro gtx Titan 64GB memory Running Gentoo and a laptop: Dell xps 13 (2015 model) with Fedora (there are still some kinks to work out, but is an awesome ultrabook)

Working fine with Linux. Only problem is the sensor chip, as the fan control or monitoring from Linux is not working. However, the bios does the job just fine. For overclocking, the bios is the best way. Asus utility is quite buggy currently. I don't understand why you would need to change...

Computer freezes, nothing in logs

Update: There have not been any freezes in four days, so it appears that the freezes are connected to S3 sleep. Probably some buggy firmware/driver cannot handle resume correctly and locks up randomly after some time.

Thank you for suggestions. Memory seems fine, at least after a few hours testing. I will run more extensive tests when I get back. Computer is running at stock freq. There has been three freezes in two week period, so debugging is a bit frustating. Each computation run takes a couple of hours...

I have a strange problem with my linux computer. During heavy computation, computer sometimes freezes totally. The most peculiar symptom is that during halt, the computer is slow to respond to the reset button (the actual separate reset pin on the motherboard, not the power button). To recap...
