Anyone else seen the news that P67 motherboard chipsets have a fault. Looks like given time/overclocking the SATA 2 ports fail:

I had this, are you using xfast? uninstalling brought back my ethernet adapter. Also don't let windows update with optional :Accusys Inc. - Storage - ACS-6xxxx as this also meant devices would not show an ethernet adapter present. I'm still using the 1.4 bios.

I've enabled usb3.0 on 1.4 bios no problems, it must of been the xfast utility.
I would like to know if anyone is using AHCI sata 3.0 to boot from, I looked up AHCI on a bios guide and it stated NCQ would be enabled. But my Corsair SSD will only boot in IDE compatible mode.
I flashed with the 1.4 bios, then failed to get windows 7 to boot, needed to reset sata to ide compatible. Then could not get the ethernet port to be discoverable in devices(tried to disable then re-enable in bios with no effect). Uninstalling XfastUSB/disableing usb 3.0 in bios got my lan back...
