Thinking about two Vertex 3s in raid 0

How does that work regarding garbage collection on those 2 drives? I will be running it of the intel chipset on a p8p67 pro board.

Thinking about two Vertex 3s in raid 0

The single Vertex 3 240GB is about 40 dollars or something cheaper than 2 120GB ones so i thought i'd just go for it ;) Yeah i know i could've just bought 1 and install games on that but i kinda wanted to raid 2 and see how they do, not the most economical choice i've taken recently, but...

its for games, i use an c300 for os and games, that one is now full, so i want twice the capacity that one gives me so i can install things again and still have some room left on the drive:P

Hi, my c300 is almost full and i need some more ssd space so i thought i'd ask in here if i should put two Vertex 3 120GB disks in raid. I have a p8p67 from asus and will be running then off the intelchip. I've heard that the garbage collection is quite good, but how is it in raid? So...

SB 2500k setup was stable, now blue screens. Any ideas?

Im running a 2600k which runs 4.5 stable at 1.3v, however i tried to increase my voltage to 1.35 and 4.6GHz, that gave me a bsod :( How much voltage would you dare running trough your SB if you were shooting for a 24/7 clock? I got a new bios update for my p67pro today but i havent tried a new...

Eyefinity problem...

Im currently using eyefinity with 2 dvi to hdmi cables and minidp to dvi adapter. Works flawless, but i had some issues when i ran native hdmi, the monitor which were running native hdmi only gave me 1918*1080 for some reason, but when i changed it to a dvi/hdmi cable it gave me all of my...

Hi, so i noticed that my ram is running at 1300MHz instead of 1600MHz as it is supposed to do. I've tried setting the ram at 1600, but the system will not remain stable at that speed. Ram is running at 1.5V according to the bios, i havent messed around with the timings, can that be the issue...

Single card Eyefinity benchmarks.

Hi, i havent benchmarked any games but i've tried my setup with f1 2010, cod black ops and rift. Im not running "ultra" on everything in black ops or f12010 since im only running a single 6970, i want more then 30 fps on the games i play so i sacrifice alittle eyecandy for smooth running games...

Eyefinity with 3 monitors, 1 of them show text abit unclear

Im running Eyefinity with 3 monitors, 1 is running miniDP to HDMI, 2nd is running a DVI to HDMI cable and the 3rd is running native HDMI. All of my screens are Samsung BX2431s. Settings are identical, but when i check the information the native HDMI screen says 1918, when the other ones are...

Edit: Recommend me a case for my new SB build

+1 on the HAF X. Atleast if you're going to run air cooling, i would go obsidian 800d if i considered watercooling.

CM 212 vs. Corsair H70

Been running prime since 4, Norwegian time:P max temp on one core is 69, that was 2 hours ago, other cores are at mid 60's. Anything "normal" which drives the cpu up to that temp at all?

Im using an h70 on my 2600k running about 30 degrees centigrade with the high ohm wires, ambient temp is around 25 i guess. Dont think i've seen it hit 50 degrees. Using the haf x btw;-) Edit: temp is 30 on idle, current oc is 4.6

Thanks alot for the answers, think im going with 3 TN panels then, since thats what im used to. So now i need to find 3 TN panels, i've heard that 300 cd/mm2 is very good for gaming, or is this just a myth? Other than that im not very concerned about the input lag, seems like all screens...

Why did you choose an IPS panel for your middle screen? Im used to only TN panels, so im wondering if an IPS is worth it, if you know what i mean:p Yeah, would be nice to have 2 cards and run them in CF, but it adds a few bucks :(

Im playing on a 2 year old aspire 8930g, with all AA disabled, so its not like im sacrifcing AA for real estate. What games ran smooth, and what do you consider smooth when it comes to framerates?

My desk space is wide enough to fit them, but it might be abit enclosed. What kind of an angle should you postion the screens anyway? is a 45 degree angle too much? Dont think we have "hans g" in norway :( They are BenQ, the ones i have recently looked at, so thats why they're cheap, no cables...

So the viewing angles are not noticed when running eyefinity? I dont think they do, cause you position the screens kinda towards you when you move your head or is my assumption wrong here? The dongle are about 50$ here in norway, but dp native screens are more expensive than that over here.

Currently im planning 3*24 running 1920/1080, should i try to get 16/10 ratio or just stick to what im used to with a 16/9? Also, how come some screen manufacturers dont include DVI cables? if you spend 200 dollars on a screen you would want it to have atleast all the cables the screen can...
