Not sure about the H97 chipset but I had issues with my PCI soundcard on the Z68 chipset since it converts PCI to PCIE. Might be best to get a mobo with the C206(?) chipset as it has a real PCI lane.
Love my 06 R53. When discussing the work I did on the car over the weekend with a co-worker:
co-worker "so it's like having a high maintenance girlfriend?"
Me "yeah, but she always puts out"
Server is on 24/7. Desktops and laptops sleep when not in use. Everything wakes up around 4am to back up to the server and they go back to sleep when they're done.
