Still running Win7 (64bit). Should I upgrade to Win10 ?

I agree with Fallen Kell (above).. especially if you see no real reason why you would need Win10 -as you say, everything works fine for you on Win7 so far. Maybe you just need/wish more "fresh look".. try some Desktop theme which looks similar to Win10 -just an idea.

Why so few 1920x1200 displays?

I can read quite often that 1920x1080 monitors are preferred for watching HD (1080p) movies -so no black bars appear. But.. most movies are in wide format (say 2.35:1) and thus, black bars appear anyway. So I think, deciding for 16:9 monitor because of that, is kinda weak reason. Not long ago...
