Asus Maximus IV Extreme P67 ROG B3 and Lancool K62 Case?

It would, but, cable management will be tight. Look at the pix. Look @ the mobo screw standoff. That's for an ATX board, measuring 12"x9.6". The AM4E measures 12"x10.6". It will cover, I think half of the space of the 2 holes where you'll have to route the 24-pin PSU power for the mobo, sata...

P67 PCH Configuration on MSI GD65

I think you must install first the Intel Rapid Storage Technology drivers that came w/ the driver CD w/ your mobo. But my suggestion is to download the latest in the Intel website rather than your mobo website as I think they're not the latest.

new build - problem with system going to sleep

I agree w/ Rhezuss. Even w/ ATI cards this happens. Don't set your pc on sleep mode. Just turn off your monitor.

Gigabyte B3 Boards Really New?

If I can clarify what you're saying is that, they just replaced the chips on all the b2 boards that they manufactured or had before & after the launch of the P67, slap the sticker showing the new revision then not sell as refurbished, simply because it never made it to end consumers in the first...

The AM4E might be listed as an E-ATX board but the thumbscrew locations on the board where you must align to the Raven is in accordance w/ an ATX form factor.

P67 Question

No, it will not revert any x16 pcie lane to x8 speed. The x4 pcie lane do not share any bandwith w/ the x16/x8 lanes. But if the gtx580 you're getting is 2x Asus gtx580 DCUII you'll not be able to install the soundcard, 'cuz it's a 3-slot. If it's only an EVGA 2-slot 580, you're golden.

Yes, the Noctua NH-D14 fans will considerably bring down the noise of the H70. Even if you don't use the ULNA adapters. Noctua fans are super quiet & efficient!
