32bit vs. compatibility mode driver problems?

Nope, still a problem with the controller with the original nforce drivers (which don't even pertain to the ide controller it seems). I think these drivers are only from M$. edit: Any chance it has something to do with adding the 120g drive? Is there anything "special" I need to do for Win me...

32bit vs. compatibility mode driver problems?

I added a hd, replaced the video card and burner. Now I have a problem with the pci ide controller when DMA mode is activated. Win98me gives me a blue screen stating... child devices of the standard dual pci controller are runing two different vesions of drivers ie. 32bit vs. compatibility mode...

Ti4600 card problem caused by MB?

Just to let you know... I fixed the problem by adding a db15 cable extension between them. Works perfectly now. Weird... Thanks Mario...

That's the sickest crap I've seen so far! But you are exactly right. I re-adjusted the connected and the stupid thing works as long as the connector is barely on! Looks like I'll be shopping for a new monitor for Christmas:disgust: Thanks Mario!!!

Ti4600 card problem caused by MB?

Hey Guys. I just recieved a Ti4600. I installed it and booted the pc to find that my KDS monitor doesn't find a video signal. My MB is a REV.1.0 ASUS A7N8X deluxe. I also tried restoring/saving the bios to default properties but that didn't help. The strange thing is that my AGP ATI 9000 works...

SIM CITY 3000

You can adjust the tax rate by openeing the "budget window". To do this... click on the "budget" button:) The sliders for the tax rate is in the middle of that window. BTW- I still have "Prima's Official Strategy Guide" for SimCity 3000. It's like new. Paid around $20 for it. I may be...

Radeon 8500 Min. Syatem Requirements. Where?

I looked on ATI's site and no luck. Just wanting to find out if it will work on my ASUS P3V4X with AGP 1.0. I just received a Ti500 that doesn't since it requires AGP 2.0 or better:( David

Got this from Visiontek: I checked your MB specs and found out your AGP slot is not AGP PRO 2.0 compliant. This board will support our card coz' it uses the old standar, AGP 1.0 and runs at 3.3v while 2.0 runs at 1.5v. Also make sure you have enough power supply to support thecard, 300 watts...

Hey All, I just recieved a used Visiontek Ti500. I swiched to standard display before removing my current Radeon 64. After installing the Ti500 and booting up the system, all I get is a black screen. The gpu fan spins but will not wake the monitor. If I turn the monitor off then back on, I get...

AGP 4X on P3V4X?

Try installing the VIA drivers individually instead of 4in1. Seems the default is 2x for the 4in1 drivers. Installing them individually for my p3v4x worked for me anyway. Driver version 4.03A. Drop me a line and I'll send you all the drivers I installed.

what P3 + MB is best in value/quality ?

Can run my 700e at just over a ghz. on my P3V4X but anything over 142 fsb craps out my usb port. So I'll just have to suffer with 994;)
