Firmware Updates for SSDs

Get the 510. I've had mine since they became available, and it's been rock solid, with no firmware updates even issued yet. If there's any SSD that came to market completely stable and ready, it was this one.

Help me Chosing SSD

In terms of performance, both drives are great. That said, the V3 is faster in all aspects except for large file copies. Intel is known to have the most reliable drive, but there is no telling how these new drives will shake out. My guess is that OCZ has closed much of the gap in reliability...

Bought an Intel 510 and C300, have a Marvell 6gb port.. help decide..

For gaming, they'll both be fine. If you're doing any copying in the drive, then go for 510. Otherwise, go C300.

G2, G3, 510 or Vertex 2/3 in Macbook Pro

As drives have saturated SATA2 for a while now, you'll see zero performance difference between these drives. If you are thinking of going SATA3 at one point, I'd suggest getting the 510 or V3.

Best Bang-for-my-Buck SSD

That's a good deal for a 510 120GB. I have a 250GB version, and they're amazing. Besides, Intel is known for it's drive reliability. If you've got the cash, go for it!

Solid choice IMO. My daily workflow includes copy large HD videos (large incompressible copies). The V3 seems to not be at top form there. Also, it's so untested at this point that you never know that kinda crap will turn up once you've had it for a few months.
