Dead Pixel on Laptop screen, help!

That doesn't look like a dead pixel. Those are many dead pixels from something smashing it. A pixel would be one of the smaller dots and this has many, many pixels in it.

PCI-E 6+2 question

I'm currently sleeving my own set of PSU cables (for the x650) and they have a set of 6+2 which connects to the PSU via an 8 pin, and then splits to provide 2 6+2 connectors. I assume this is fine and if so, is it ok because it's attached to an 8 pin to the PSU?

Sorry to bump an old topic, but this is for anyone else with a similar issue: I had to send it into ASUS for repair. They ended up replacing the mobo, so it was a hardware issue.

Thanks for the help, I finally got the bootloader issue etc worked out, so I am now booting from the 2.5" drive bay. My one question is, now that I am in windows, I cannot see the iSSD. It shows up in the bios, but does not show in disk management, device manager, or diskpart. Any help? Thanks...

I tapped f8 and it locked up. I swapped in original ram and hdd to no avail. I also tried swapping a sad into my desktop, installed win 7 to that, and put back in the laptop. I am now getting a boot manager missing error. Thoughts? Thanks again!

I hate Swype thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis much

As posted on xda forums: This worked for me: 1) googled swype apk and downloaded (version 3.26) 2) uninstalled swype via Titanium Back up 3) Reboot into download mode (CWM) 4) wipe cache and dalvik cache, reboot 5) install downloaded Swype APK

Secondary drive prevents OS from booting?

Any Liquid Cooler fits Lian Li PC V354?

This is called a dual boot, it's very common for the new sandy bridge series. Google it and a lot of fixes will come up, it's extremely annoying.

Sweet, I'll try that. The other issue is that I cannot find how to change the voltage in my BIOS. I have googled it and some say that you cannot adjust it? But that makes no sense and I'm assuming that you have to be able to.
