I tried using MagicISO on windows 8 but it doesn't work either, so looking for something (preferably free) that works with windows 8.

I didn't think to split the DB logs into separate drives in RAID1, makes total sense though.
Performance is a concern, obviously looking for the best possible, so i think RAID10 will be the way to go with 4+ 600GB SAS Drives...
