[H]Titanfall just 6v6

My main impression so far - feels like CoD with mechs and double-jumps/parkour. The chaos on offer is pretty cool, but there's nothing in the core gameplay that has wowed me to this point. We'll see if it retains my interest, but I'm not holding my breath right now.

Elite Dangerous

Definitely piquing my interest based on playing Elite and Frontier back in the day, but it'd probably only stick with it if the world really felt 'alive'; somewhere that you really wanted to spend a while in, even if just hanging around at your favorite station. Whether ED can offer this still...

Conc jumping was one of the greatest instances of 'bug-to-feature' ever. It completely changed how the game was played when people started figuring out how to use them. Valve did have to rope them in a bit initially as they used to make you fly insane distances, but thankfully they didn't remove...

You might have been playing on a NeoTF server. Also, Fortress Forever is worth checking out. It's been out for a while but just recently got Greenlit on Steam, so I would expect a small resurgence when it finally gets put up there. TFC is definitely one of my favourite games of all-time...

Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 Legends Edition. I used to use a Deathadder but switched to a Puretrak Talent mat and found it caused bad lift-off distance issues. Unfortunately the IE3.0 was discontinued again so I might have to look at alternatives if this ever breaks...

Changing keyboard layout

You should just be able to change your keyboard settings to make it a US layout. Eg, shift+3 would give you # instead of £. Start -> Region and Language -> Keyboards and Languages -> Change Keyboards. Then Add English (US) and make it default (or just remove English (UK)).

Failed to initialize Steam when I start game.

Try closing Steam, then find ClientRegistry.blob in your Steam directory and delete it. Then restart Steam and see if it works.
