What is a decent GPS unit for my car

If you're gonna splurge $200 a unit, I'd say get a Magellan 4250 for $50 more, or $250 total. It's a new model and has all the bells and whistles, and a 3 month traffic thingy to see if it works at your area. If it does, great! If not, oh well, only $50 more than the 1430 you suggested...

Got some speakers taken out of my car... not put together correctly.

Since they did what they did, I'd suggest you just call and ask. Most likely, they lost them or broke them when pulling them out.

Can someone take a quick glance at this thread. It's a problem I'm having with a Asus A8N-E board in which I cannot seem to make it OC at all... maybe it's just a bad board? Everything else seems to work fine and it's perfectly stable.

Can't overclock my Asus A8N-E mobo at all - very odd...

Even so, it should overclock when I set the FSB, then crash or do whatever it wants. The thing is it's reporting the processor as XXXX speed in the bios but in windows, it sits at default speed. baffling to say the least. Wookie, thanks for the link, i'll check it out and let you know.

OMG, WTF. big cookie to whoever can tell me what happen (XP)

Fixed your problem yet? It may be the timing on yoru memory. Try making the numbers higher, which slows it down a tiny bit. Also, your new RAM, does it require higher voltages? If so, I seen some that requires up to 2.8v (!)

strange characters on Laptop screen.

I wouldn't say it's a keyboard problem. If keys are getting stuck, it should beep loudly to let you know. Only when the key or keys are released will the beeps stop after it empty's the keyboard buffer. I don't work much with Toshiba laptops so I don't know and never seen that error. I doubt...

Can someone help me with the Windows Repair Utility?

If you upgraded your motherboard, you really should do a "repair" option on the cd. No need for a format! If you upgraded your MB, CPU, and RAM, it would be one of those, most likely. You should not get a blue screen while copying files. If it doens't find a file, it will keep prompting you...

Radeon 9700 Pro or Geforce FX 5900nu what card to put in my system

I'd say go with the 5900. You do realize the 5900 underclocks itself in 2D so it doesn't produce as much heat right? If you're gaming, it will automatically go to standard speed and run the fans faster.

Everyone knows how fast memory on video cards are, as fast as 2ns currently with the latest high end video cards. If that's possible, how come people who make RAM, especially Crucial, doesn't do this? Is it because of cost issues? Since the memory has the same or maybe a few more signal...

30 and 40GG hard drives showing up as 10GB?

No, I used htis on a 120GB, 80GB, etc. fdisk works fine, as does the computer. The hard drive is a compaq OEM but that shouldn't matter at all.

Computer booting and rebooting

Damn forums loads so slow.... Anyways, this is probably heat related. Check to see if the heatsink is sitting correctly on the cpu. It's probably overheating while loading Windows, hiccups, then cools down as it does the post again, then reloads Windows, and hiccups again.
