if it's PCV, then isn't the oil in the sump exposed to the same blow by? or is there something different in a turbo? (e.g. is that oil from the turbo unit and exposed to the exhaust stream?) :\

hey, i've got an arbor press and hydraulic press at home and some bigger ones at work... if you get that spindle out and the hub won't come free, we could give that a shot. same if you need to press bushings in/out.
you could consider putting the nut back on the far side and tighten it up real good, then commence with the penetrating oil and whacking (and torching). some tension on the bolt from the threaded end may be beneficial in getting it to break loose.

running a lightweight flywheel makes for quick off-the-line starts (low rotating engine mass is easy to accelerate), but it doesn't smooth out the lumps at idle. a heavy flywheel will run a single cylinder workhorse engine like buttah. but don't expect quick RPM changes.

maybe zero discoloration if you weld in an argon box... the rest of us weld in a garage, with oxygen.. eventually the bead leaves the shield gas. JCH13 is Jackie Chan with a torch.:ninja:
