Looks like it just might be easier to grab a newer mobo (the CPU is from Newegg so I can't return it but the mobo I can).
Just so I have all my derps in a row anything from the Intel B/Q/H/Z/200 series (such as this https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157734) be the best...
It was an old AMD system that was working fine. The mobo, CPU, and RAM that I listed are all new, with the PSU and soundcard being reused.
And it is a Kaby Lake CPU. So do you think the best course of action is to grab a Skylake chip at this point?
Note also I've tried remounting everything and...
It's not a new Ultra PSU. I know they're not great but this one has been whirring along just fine for years now.
Also I've tried remounting the RAM several times. I'll try remounting the CPU tomorrow but I'm fairly certain I did correctly.
Thanks!
Specs:
Intel G3930
ASRock H110M-DVP
G.SKILL Ripjaws 4 Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2133
Ultra 500w PSU
HT Omega Striker sound card
The system will power on for about 15ish seconds then lose power and then will power itself back on again etc. I've tried booting with just one...
Can anyone else not access the Radeon Additional Settings (for display color control) menu in ReLive? Other people on the AMD forums are also reporting this problem. https://community.amd.com/thread/208965
The thing is the Window's display setup is woefully lacking when compared to what was in older versions of CCC/Crimson
Last time I checked this didn't have a slider for gamma, unless they've added it recently.
Rubber, my all time favorite, is the heart warming story of a tire that becomes sentient and goes on a murderous rampage in a small desert town.

Also how about a movie about a killer elevator?

Found these guys a few years ago and they quickly became one of my all time favorites. If you like DSO check out Steam Powered Giraffe.

I can't belive one has mentioned Divine Divinity or Divinity 2 yet. Also The Borderlands series is very Diablo-esqe if you don't mind the FPS element.
Hammerwatch is also a complete blast. Albeit it leans more towards Gauntlet then Diablo.
All my sims are self-torturering. Traits like evil and insane are mandatory. However this woman is probably the supreme master of doing horrible and bizarre things to sims.
Tons of cool stuff including the original models, unused textures and sprites, and behind the scenes pictures.

If you can get past the bugs and the overly grimdark story both games are an absolute blast.
And whacking a zombie with a modded up blunt weapon and watching it go flying for 30 meters while its limbs stay behind never gets old.
Looking at benchmarks it would provide about a 5-8 reduction in load times, not a gigantic improvement, but an improvement none the less. However even with my HDD I find that I'm usually the first to load in MP games. If I'm quick enough I can pretty much snag any vehicle I want in BF4. :P

I use a SSD (Samsung 830 128GB) for my boot drive as well. The thing formatted and installed Windows 7 in something like 30 minutes. Windows boots in about 15 seconds. However I use a 1TB WD Caviar Black for my games.
Can't wait for 1TB SSDs to drop below $200.
Wookieepedia?

I honestly don't understand the obsession Fett. Jango stands there like an idiot while Mace Windu chops his head off, his clones become the poster children for cannon fodder, and Boba gets his ass kicked by a half blind Han with a stick.
If it still requires the user to provide the original files to function, and PV is just giving us the engine and the conversion tools, I don't see what the problem is. There are quite a few fan made engine recreation projects out there.
That was my experience on my old dual core Opteron. It went away with the fan updated renderers.
Since it doesn't seem to be an issue with multicore systems or overly high framerates your probably just going to have to start playing with video options in-game and in your video card control...
Also excessively high frame rates can cause some really weird problems (along with timing issues on multicore CPUs) in certain engines. Berserk physics and glitchy water in Skyrim and not being to pass though a door early on in Dead Space come to mind off the bat.
Try enabling vsync or a pile...
Not sure if this will help, but UE1 and older versions of UE2 throw an absolute hissy fit on multicore CPUs. Open the task manager, right click on the EXE, select "Set Affinity" and set it so it only runs on one core and see if that helps.
Yes, I know. I'm just jerkin' your gherkin. :P
The nuke scene from CoD4 (spoilers) http://youtu.be/jB-n_8zq9Qo that everyone always talks about and rightly so.
However I'm more fond of this one from earlier in the game (spoilers again) http://youtu.be/CaVVLPX8-5g
It has not been fun watching...
