Has anyone had luck with price matching? So far we have been able to get Staples to price match Diablo II and Links 2001...We tried to match some stuff at Best Buy and they refused citing their policy is "local competition".

Forget that. People can take or leave the information but giving out your information like that is probably not wise or necessary.
Telling which store you work on a public forum where there might be weird or crazy people just isn't a good idea.
Don't let a few people keep others from trying the deal. But just like other deals..not everyone is going to have good luck with getting it or even getting correct information from the stores.

Our local OD claims that the info is downloaded from Corporate at midnight. They are showing no clearance. I called two different stores.

They may be out. However, I would go in and start to place the order and not say anything about a price match. Start the process BUT DON'T COMPLETE IT, get an order number, and tell them to place it on hold. Then call back in a few minutes and finish the order with the price match.
Yes, we need more details. I doubt you can get the free ram on its own, though that would be nice. You may have to send some kind of proof of the hard drive purchase and the ram purchase..such as the capacity sticker on the hard drive.

You must do it now while the site still shows quantity left. I doubt all of you will get your orders from this site. However, you can use the fact that the site isn't updated right now to try to price match at Staples.

The problem you may have is that Office Max may tell you the price is 399.99 or 299.99. Ask them to scan it. They will say this is the price in the computer. Say you know other people are getting it for 249.99 and you need it scanned to...
Do it at Staples. They will add overnight delivery. Use a coupon to make up for it.
If by chance you get to the end of the order and you don't get a delivery date of next day then tell them they shouldn't charge you a next day delivery charge from the website.

I received my Yamaha Drive today from Staples. I remembered some of the posts here so I decided to check what was inside the box.
