this is the hdd 2.25GB 3.5'' SCSI (68 pin ) 7200RPM HDD DFHS S2W i have a cable that i assume is lvd because it is terminated... can i use there together? thanks again for all the help

duron overclockers what fans are you using and where?

duron 600--oc to 922 pal6035 temp under full load has never risen above 40C, depending on room temp, usually around 35

my duron 600 w/ kt7 raid and mushkin ram gets satble fsb of 121/33, 122/33 crashed in windowns everytime though. i consider that extremly lucky though, as the chipset seems to limit most ppl to closer to the 110-115 range...

signal loss running cable to both tv and pc

i just got a voodoo 3500 with tv in/out. i have regular cable, when i run it through my pc everything looks great, but if i use the coaxial out, and turn the tv on, the signal is very fuzzy. also, most of my channels are not being detected if i have the coaxial cable run through the pc...

Need a Case recommendation --- PLEASE!

i have both the fong kai 603 and the 320 and both of them are great both with regard to thermal and integrity. if you need a 2nd external 3.5 get the 603, if 1 external 3.5 is all you need then the 320 is quite a bit more sturdy and slightly better thermally

Unlocking the Tbird

first check the bridges, if they are all intact and you still can post with over an 8x multiplier, try your multiplier at 9x. for some reason some of the t-birds are not posting at .5 incriments.

Can the CPU limit the FSB?

The topic says it all, is there a cpu limiter to how high you can take the fsb, or are fsb limits determined soley by ram.

problems with amd duron plus abit kt7

you need to up your volts to get stable in windows above 800mmz, if you go up to 1.65 volts you should be fine using the stock heatsink and you can at least get to 850mmz

PROBLEM OVERCLOCKING DURON

default for a duron 600 is 1.5v, mine was stable at 800mmz with 1.5v, i am now running 920 with 1.7v, i dont have any cooling problems, it rairly gets above 35 C. And BTW, the PAL6035 made a big difference...

Is the Fong Kai 603 case any good?

i just upgraded to the fk 320, and whereas i like both the 603 and 320, unless you absolutly have to have the 2 external 3.5 bays, the 320 is the way to go. i saw the fk 603 sold at best buy in austin last week, i did not notice what name it was sold under, but it was on sale for $55 a good...

my overclocked duron system does weird things after a while

there is probably no need to up the voltage any more, 1.8 is more than enough to run a duron at 850. actually, my duron 600 runs at 850 with 1.6. what are your fsb/multiplier settings??

Duron overclocking with Abit KT7-Raid

100% that easy, and it is actually not that had to get stable. my system under stress never gets above 38 degrees and i have my duron 600 overclocked to 850 with normal cooling. i'm not going to increase the voltage until my pal6035 comes in later this week

just an idea, why not buy one at buy.com for less than $80, buying a graphite pencil about 10 cents, and playing connect the dots? i got mine (duron 600mmz) for $70 and it runs stable at 900, i have not pushed it to 950 yet

I have a chrome orb, it comes with some thermal tape on it. Is it worth while to remove this tape and apply thermal compound seperatly?

Help with an FDC port

i have an abit ka7 and when i attach a floppy drive to it the bios detects the drive, but it is not accessable. also, the green light on the drive stays on constantly. I tried replacing the drive, checking the power and direction of the cables with no luck, anyone have any suggestions? thanks
