7950 ... is my card about to die ( long sry )
long story short :
His card started throttleing when overclocked past a point, it didnt used to do.
This means he thinks its "dyeing" when it probably isnt.
The card is actually throttling at stock speeds.... so yea
Talking with sapphire now, told them my VRM temps and they say thats completly normal for this card silver if you were still wondering.\
Long story short sapphire is going to RMA the card on the grounds that it cant sustain stock clocks w/o the need for upping the power to +20%. Thanks everyone...
Thinking this as well, probably going to be my last resort, at this point something clearly wrong sent in a ticket to sapphire, waiting to hear back from them.
i can take pic of hwinfo if u want want but they both read exactly the same, i just ran valley benchmark to get this, but i assure you if i run it for many hours it will max at 63c
The card has never been overvolted, i belive to change it on this card anyway i would have needed the modded trixx to do that, in either case no.
I took the card and put it in another PC to make sure its the card, got the same results. pic of the card struggling at stock and going below stock...
Thanks for the input, i did take a different power supply and hook it up with different cords ect. and got the same results. VRM temps in the low 60's
Also it may be worth noting now that the card when overclocked just 25mhz to 950 core will not throttle, however the GPU usage will stagger...

Well the only way i have found to control voltage on the boost card is in MSI afterburner to force voltage. Now im not sure how low you want the voltage if this is a reasonable thing to do or not.
Hey everyone, So i have my Sapphire 7950 up to 1150mhz core and 1450mhz mem stable again. Temps are very reasonable and am on stock voltage. Now i cant adjust the voltage because its a boost card. The voltage under load in boost are 1.151 MAX and really sits at 1.130 under 100% load for hours...
Sorry for your loss, If the game is in your library you cant gift it to someone else. You can only gift games you purchase and dont claim for yourself. Im not sure how to remove it from your list if you dont want to see it there anymore :/

Been overclocking my saphire 7950 today. Got it to 1200mhz clock and 1450 memory with no issues in FuMark, or Heaven. Needless to say i was pleased since i was still on stock voltage and stock fan speeds. Temps maxed at 78c after 30 min in FuMark.
